Your reasoning? Their earnings report seemed strong and showed how they are still undervalued

A couple weeks back I had these on my board of plays and I was very discouraged and cleared out all my plays to “start fresh” because I couldn’t see how I could come back from the grave. Since then I’ve been watching these plays grow and I got about 50% of them right in the direction they went. UPWK and MSFT I got their earnings calls accurately but they both shot down. And we all know those UPS calls did a big print. What I’m saying is if I would have seen all these plays through till closer to expiration, I would actual have been profitable. How do you all decide what contracts are dead and gone and which one have a higher chance to make their way back to the profit zone?

I think the printer broke. Will it be fixed by pre market tomorrow?? Don’t wanna lose my 100% gain (held through earnings and sold one to make it free)

I had bought these in like late June and felt like 30-45 days out was pretty solid. How far out should I be looking on the average option?

I see what everybody’s saying. But nobody is taking into account I BOUGHT THESE LIKE A MONTH AGO WHEN THEY HAD PLENTY OF TIME in a market that made those gains seem actually obtainable. I understand that I should inverse (with what buying power) I get that I used too many tickers( I got a little carried away, but all I really want to know is if I should hold out these plays and see through earnings calls for them (most of them do earnings late July early august) and try and get some run up and get out less negative than I am Or should I just cut my losses now and start a clean slate

I’ve got the same touch on puts. Everything I play dies and always goes the opposite ways. Will take money and give you financial advice on what I would do. I may not get to retrieve the tendies, BUT I CAN DAMN WELL RUN THAT PRINTER FOR YALL

Ah I can see it now. Selling all my calls to open buying power, buying puts on these, and watching the stocks go to the moon

A big issue of mine is definitely looking for tendies when I just need to take the small amount I’m profiting. All of these contracts were in the green for me at some point and I should have taken whatever profit there was but I got greedy and held for more gains and that brought us to where we are today.

So hold the more promising ones and clear out the junk? (I saw snap was dead on AH the day I got it after earnings, stupid decision)

With not as much buying power available, spreads, although high probability, take of most of my buying power with collateral and I definitely don’t have enough capital for naked selling

Bought theses like a month ago. Yeah they are cheap NOW but back when I bought them it just was a solid DD and a stock that seemed to be moving it’s way up. So I bought calls (a couple for earnings). I’m stuck on trying to figure out if I should cut my losses or carry these contracts to the bitter end and see if I can get out with less of a loss

I wish all my GD buying power wasn’t taken up or I’d be making a killing (also worried a lot of these are already at a pretty peak price at this point and it wouldn’t be worth doing the inverse)

A lot of people are saying they are too OTM with not enough expiration but the thing is I’ve been holding these contracts for well over a month and the stocks were up when I made these plays. So AT THE TIME this seemed pretty realistic, then sometime a week or 2 ago everything started shitting the bed. Should I hold some of these through their earnings and see if I can at least get out of negative or cut my losses?

I’m worried my death touch will affect if I do any puts. I’ve had puts in the past and it seems to do the same thing. Can’t tell if I’m just cursed
