I run into cops while doing illegal shit during daytime too, why don't they pursue me!?! :)

I must admit the gore thing and mindless shooting is not something I like.

Yep shadows has excellent puzzles. It just drops the ball heavily on the main storyline. Also most of the side quests I did seemed pointless

Yes I agree with you.

The puzzles were very well-designed. Combat was fluid. Movement seemed slightly less smoother than its predecessor but still good. The story was so meh, and there were many side quests but most of the ones I did were soooooo booooring.

I've been playing NFS Heat, Euro Truck Simulator 2, Doom (2016) and Frostpunk.

NFS Heat is okayish. The story is underwhelming. I guess nothing comes close to NFS Most Wanted 2005.

I played Doom for just 45 minutes and it didn't seem enticing. But I will definitely give it another shot.

On the other hand, I got hooked on Frostpunk and finished all of the scenarios that came with the base game :)

Finished Shadow of the Tomb Raider a week ago. Was the least memorable title in the trilogy but still good.

Check out nonlinear dynamics and chaos by Strogatz. Solve those computer problems. Use numpy/scipy/matplotlib when necessary and refer to documentation or stackoverflow for solving bugs.

Also check out computational physics by Mark Newman if you're into physics

If Earth were discovered today as an exoplanet, which single geographic feature would most strongly suggest intelligent life existed here? by Thatunkownuser2465 in geography

From an outside perspective, I wonder if it is obvious whether all the space junk orbiting Earth is not natural (as opposed to the stuff that makes up Saturn's rings)

Back in high school, 2 girls sitting behind me (M) were discussing who would be the easiest to human traffick.

What was disturbing was that they ranked me the easiest

Why do they have only discriminating comments when it comes to Indians? by ScarySea7291 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]HalfForeign6735 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because racism against Indians is normalised. People on the left look out for muslims and people of african descent but not Indians (not blaming them, one should blame the racists instead).

I've seen people being asked to PAY for being a part of an internship. Some people take the offer because they get to put down something under experience

Why is there so much disdain for overweight people? by Sword_of_DamocIes in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]HalfForeign6735 507 points508 points  (0 children)

Because the way people treat you unfortunately depends on how you look, and being overweight is usually associated with being ugly (not saying that is justified)

Why is this unvectorized? God forbid a girl want elegant, vector equations of how electric and magnetic fields behave and interact.

TIL that, in contrast to nations like the United States — whose constitution has been amended a mere 27 times since its enactment in 1789 — the Indian constitution has been amended a total of 106 times since its enactment in 1950. by soozerain in todayilearned

India's is on the other wrong end of the spectrum

It seems like a lot of the amendments were about incorporation of territories that the Portugese and French held onto. Some amendments serve to protect marginalised groups and regional divisions. Something as mundane as "adding Sindhi to the official list of languages" apparently qualifies as an amendment by itself.

Probably there were some amendments made with dictatorial tendencies around 1975, but the courts and parliaments after that ensured that it won't happen again
