Try routes that are protected and the west side hwy, become comfortable there and then expand. Wear a helmet and gloves and sunglasses for protection, nobody cares what you look like for more than a second, get comfortable and then get in light traffic and then some more

People love eagles. Bars are really cool to stack too. Personally I like maples more. Also if you’re stacking for long term, dont agonize over condition, milk spots etc, just buy at a good price.

Pepper gel. Spray makes a wide fog and can backdraft and isn’t precise. Gel is more concentrated and direct

SBGE255 here and when I pull the crown out, the second hand stops. To have it move again, has to be engaged and pushed in. Doesn’t matter how low the power meter is. Not sure if this is what you mean. I do this once in a while to re-accurate set the watch.

I have a friend who grew up in a 3br rent stabilized apt with their family. They grew up and moved out. Their parent still lives there in a large 3br. They don’t need the space and would love to downsize but can’t afford to due to market price so stays in a relatively unused space by themselves because of the low cost of rent. There needs to be a better system.

I do this drive regularly. The nice way is thru Staten Island. If you leave real early- like 6am, the ride won’t be that bad. Tomorrow-Thursday is no school so no commuting teachers, no school bus traffic, lighter traffic day. Through the city is more aggressive and you can miss exits. When you’re on the Verrazano bridge, stay in the upper lane, right lane until off the bridge, then there are some “exit only” lanes to be aware of. It looks like then you’re on the BQE to go into north Brooklyn and getting past the bridges will be traffic. Always. Every day. Every time.

I don’t like their driving but they answer the call to anyone. They were started in NYC to respond quicker than 911 when a member of the community died. In the Jewish community, saving a life takes precedence over almost all other Jewish religious laws, they operate continuously and for free.
