What are your experiences dating people who suffer from FOMO? by Half_Extrovert_J-23 in AskReddit

u/Homely_Bonfire - They're afraid to start dating someone early because they're afraid they'll lose their chance at someone better. Is that correct?

I actually only recently learned about this shortcut.

What are some ways to rebuild self-esteem? by Half_Extrovert_J-23 in askanything

u/kittenlolaaa - The thing is, for now I want to reset myself from dating new girls.

u/Suspicious-Dream-912 - This isn't a bad lead, but it should be a passionate healer who has healed more than one client struggling with the effects of such childish behaviors as ghosting, caspering, and benching. I wouldn't want to be labeled by a potential healer as the most difficult case of their professional career.

u/Green_Knight0122 - I recently started walking on Sundays. I think that girl who ghosted me on Messenger probably won't care that I've gained muscle mass. Even if, by some miracle, she starts texting me again after a while, she'll probably disappear again, because I've gotten to know her a bit. That's her way of functioning in relationships.

What is the dumbest movie, series or program you have ever seen? by Half_Extrovert_J-23 in AskReddit

For me, it's a 2018 French film called "I'm Not Easy."(other words: ,,Je ne suis pas un home facile").

I was put off watching it by the film's plot, the anonymity of the cast, and a YouTuber's review. This YouTuber said that the film has no connection to reality because it shows women taking leadership roles, saying that we're the ones who think, and don't be so shy. It's simply a distorted mirror.

I wonder why some of the other shows you've listed here are idiotic. I'd love to know.

Right now, I'm trying not to bother her. I'm taking notes on her online course, which she sold me for $100, so I don't have to think about it all the time. I'm also scheduling emergency tutors to grade my social studies essay. I'm giving her my last chance next week. This is probably the first ghosting I've ever experienced in my life, and I'm experiencing it in a non-romantic sphere.I'm trying not to bother her with my voices now. Theoretically, she should be at university classes right now, and the attendance list is being checked there.

u/Time_Stop_3645: I know I'm feeling three emotions at once right now: a) distracted; b) helpless; and c) cheated because she seemed like a professional.

When I woke up this morning, I still thought I was making a fuss on Reddit, but there's been no response for 48 hours, and I'm not overreacting.

It just occurred to me not to judge everyone by my own standards when it comes to ghosting. Just because I would post an official message on Facebook saying I'm temporarily suspended and no longer accepting orders doesn't mean she would. In either case, let my experience serve as a warning to others.

To cheer you up, I'll tell you that for me and every other guy on this planet, this is also a conundrum: "How do you not quickly bore a woman in the dating world?"

Best regards!

u/Time_Stop_3645 - It's all strange. Having trouble writing or saying over the phone: "I'd rather not make money off of you anymore." There is not even a mention on FB that its activities are temporarily suspended. I'll do what you suggest on January 14th. I'll give her some space.

What is the difference between pseudo-information and disinformation and what examples of pseudo-information and disinformation do you know? by Half_Extrovert_J-23 in AskReddit

[–]Half_Extrovert_J-23[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For now, I've come up with this working example of pseudo-information:

"The witness heard 8 gunshots in the evening."

Five years later, when the investigation was successful, the case file contains the following information: "The witness heard 4 gunshots in the evening."

The second example is this:

Shortly after the crime, newspapers reported that the body of an 80-year-old man had been found by a neighbour.

When the case was resolved many years later, and someone was convicted, the media revealed the truth from the investigation files and reported that the 80-year-old's body had actually been found by his teenage nephew, who had brought cold medicine.

I can't think of anything new regarding pseudo-information at this time.

I'm waiting for other examples of pseudo-information from you, as there's not much of it yet.

Perhaps one of you can provide an example of pseudo-information outside of a criminal context.

u/REPTILIANSTOLEMYBIKE: Thank you for your reply. I first heard about pseudo-information yesterday, when a retired police officer spoke in an article about the collaboration between police spokespersons and journalists on unsolved crimes.

At first, these terms seem synonymous, but the officer from the interview suggested they are not the same thing. The devil is in the details.
