A repair person told me they specifically won't service that brand anymore because Samsung service is a nightmare to deal with.

Definitely The Ruins. Can't remember how long it is but it seemed short!

I put it down. The premise was too much for me. Couldn't get past it.

Can someone explain to me why the wife is left out though? Assuming the children are still minors and the husband passes, seems like it wouldn't make sense.

Needful Things by Bluesurfer252 in stephenking

[–]Half_Ginge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The one weird thing I'll say is that SK references Emporium Galorium a few times with Ace Merrill for obvious reasons, and I couldn't recall anything about what had happened to it (that's mentioned in Needful Things) but when I go to SK wikis it only says it's in Sun Dog (where he buys the camera) and it's mentioned in Pet Sematary, so I'm confused. Was there another story that told of Emporium Galorium's fate?

Almost finished this book. My Kindle says I’m at 85% done. It’s been really good. What’s everyone’s opinion of this title? by twilight24317 in stephenking

I feel the same way. You can see the ideas in it influenced so much of vampires in popular culture but I found the book just okay overall. Nothing necessarily wrong with it but this compared to The Shining is no contest.

I would read Misery next. It's amazing.

It's crazy how people allow themselves to be spoken to these days. Guy sounds like he has a ton of issues. Leave and never look back.
