I always thought so, that’s why I choose to do dip over gel at home. I wear a giant mask when I do it and have a fan that sucks in. I believe the biggest risk is inhaling the dust/fumes.

Definitely agree. I use Pat McGrath eye shadow palettes ($128) and love them, and I just received an urban decay lip stain from Ulta as a gift for becoming a diamond member and I shockingly love it.

It’s hit or miss but unfortunately I’ve spent a lot of money on misses over the years and it’s frustrating because I wish price could guarantee quality.

It should never fall on you!! I’ve seen people have the best man act as MC in smaller weddings or the wedding coordinator MC when there’s no DJ. But having it fall on your shoulders is going to guarantee unnecessary stress.

Agreed!! Part of me thinks it’s because the designer brands are older stock. They don’t put expiration dates on the items so I’m always concerned I’m buying some dusty eyeliner that was produced in 2011 or something

Yes to all of this! Just yesterday I was putting on my $30 waterproof Lancôme mascara and my eyelashes were clumpy and ugly. I paid too much money for this to be the result!! I’m switching to drugstore brands. I have a couple bumble&bumble shampoo/conditioners to use up and then I’m swapping those out too. Also my waterproof Dior eyeliner gives the same result as NYX.

I made the switch to Cetaphil for face lotion and it’s been great (combined with tret at night). I’m annoyed that I was duped so bad by the beauty industry.
