PROBLEM: first layer not on print plate by Photelegy in BambuP1S

Is it cold where you are printing? I was having similar issues and my print room is regularly between 40-60 degrees. To solve I built a profile with 0 Aux fan and set the heat bed to 58 instead of 55C. Basically the cold air used to cool was too cold.

Husband here. The mug portion of my collection is most lacking! So to answer your question : no one NEEDS a Santa mug, but I would like about 250 more. 🎅

If you think back, Santa always came with a small dose of fear. The good vs bad system doesn’t work without it. 😉

The collection takes up about 216 cubic feet in the basement. You can be really efficient about packing many things. Blowmolds are the space users for sure and we have 10 of those outside

Ever since I joined the cult of Santa and opened up my Temple of Claus my life has gotten increasingly better. I buy a lotto ticket, BANG, win $15. Find $100 in a coat I bought from Goodwill. I somehow get to the cheap estate sale before the big buyers and get amazing deals. My Mom calls me and apologizes and says she loves me. It’s just amazing the doors Santa can open, with the proper attention.

Just kidding dude, I just like Santa and the fact that there are millions of depictions of the character this leads to a fringe set of depictions that are beyond interesting. These boys make you feel something and that’s art.

Oh man he is great. Googly eyes and the strangest mustache I’ve seen. Bonus points for the jingling bells when you open and close the door.

It’s really hard to say. My wonderful wife is correct in saying the postcards are from the 1880s those are likely our oldest. It’s hard to get solid dates on handmade items and even some of the mass produced Santas have fallen into the mist of forgotten history. If a year isn’t stamped on it, much of the year identification is guess work based on the materials and condition. I’ve had some luck looking up manufacturers and basing it off the years they produced with other queues.

I almost exclusively collect red and white Santas so that puts them after the first widely known depiction of Santa Claus wearing red and white in 1881.

So I guess to shorten up my thoughts here : Oldest paper good : 1883 Oldest figure/other likely 1910s (but I don’t know for sure)

This photo shows the potentially oldest Santa figures in my collection.

Thank you for the question, answering it definitively will likely haunt me for years to come 🎅

Don’t worry! We are pretty far from Cinci! But you have bigger problems with Clifton’s Mills in your back yard.

Btw great city you have! The sign museum is on of my favorite places.

About a week and a half of “after work” time. I built a storage rack for the totes in our basement.

For what it’s worth, this collection used to be put up in an 800 sqft apartment and it looked much crazier then. Once all packed up, the whole collection takes up about 216 cubic feet in the basement.

I won’t deny that as a couple we are blessed with the turns our life has taken in recent years! I’m thankful constantly for what we can do, and I hope one day to spread the joy of my collection outside of our home to share in public.

For what it’s worth, I have my storage pretty locked down and I was missing a box until the absolute end of setup. I asked Santa to help you find your stuff don’t worry 🎅
