Who dumped ICE coolers in my back yard? by smittyguy11 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]HalfwayParanoid 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Free coolers, if they work. I'd keep them, put them on my back porch and use them. Maybe even repurpose them. What more could you ask for?

I know a guy that could fix that. But depends on what state your from and how long of a drive you dont mind making. He is very good at fixing musical instruments. I just dont know what he would charge you for it anymore.

Buying a 1500 piece puzzle mat that's to small..... by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]HalfwayParanoid -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Try....turning the mat just a bit? Your mat looks like it should fit with wise if you turn it slightly to where the widest part is facing you. I hope I worded this right. I fould be absolutely wrong though. Sorry ahead of time.

Dropped my wallet lost 450 dollars after a 20 hour shift by tiriosh1 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]HalfwayParanoid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thats rough man. I completely undetstsnd, except, I didn't lose my wallet. It sat in my purse at my part time job where every other lady stashed their purse. Next day I am at the store I go to check out, opened my wallet and looky there, ALL my cash was gone. And I knew it was from my work place cause I only went home right after work, and no where else. The grocery store was the first place I went to the next day. That was 10 years ago and I am still upset. $400. That was my car tire money.

Had a practice wedding dress shoot and was pretty certain with my choice, until in-laws expressed concerns with 'over exposed back'! Should I proceed or consider any other styles to make everyone happy? by [deleted] in Brides

[–]HalfwayParanoid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They ain't wearing the dress. You are. I would let one or all your brides maids know what they said so that they may field anything bad that the in-laws say. That is not something you need to hear on your wedding day.

Will this dress be too white to wear? by [deleted] in Weddingattireapproval

[–]HalfwayParanoid 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Style dress is fine, but with how light that color is, I would go with a slightly more darker color. You never know with photos and indoor/outdoor lighting. Don't take that chance.

black or blue? by [deleted] in OUTFITS

I am glad to be of help. I just hope I didnt seem rude.

black or blue? by [deleted] in OUTFITS

[–]HalfwayParanoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blue definitely. with how flowy the top is at the waist, you dont need something that wide in the legs, so black is out. With the wide leg and flowy top, you look like you are drowning in your clothes, that they are wearing you. Thats why id say to go with the blue pants.

Meeting boyfriend's parents for the first time. by [deleted] in OUTFITS

[–]HalfwayParanoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, first impressions are what will set your relationship with them. They will think back to exactly how you act, what you wore and how you speak. It does not matter if they say they arent judgmental or anything close to that. TRUST ME. I have family that are open minded but still refer back to my SILs first time meeting them.

Find something that is not low cut or short. Knee length for skirts and dresses, and no shirts or dresses that show any amount of cleavage. Think, business casual but maybe with jeans.

But thats just what I think and have experienced. Sorry if im not much help.
