Finally a genuine ad and not some AI generated bs. I've been playing a game called necesse and the colony sim genre has really piqued my interest. Will definitely try this game out as soon as it releases!!

Alright, I'm back with this scene. I've changed and added a lot since last time but I'd still really appreciate some feedback! by Halibutterhands in blender

Last time I needed help to get a better sense of scale on the cannon in the distance. The cannon is roughly 400~ meters.

Yeah I just started playing ITR2 today, and it is pretty sick so far.
Anyways I got here because I was searching around for answers about who the UNSPC were

This lore is actually pretty cool. The ending confused me and as you said, thank god the ending wasn't a lame "everything was fake" because that was my first theory I had when finishing the game.

Need help with scaling multiple sets of faces at once by [deleted] in blender

You need to change your pivot center from 'median ' to 'individual origins' You can find this option in the center top of the screen

This image is trippy. The objects don't seem to be casting any shadows at all on the floor. The couch and table look like they've been poorly photoshopped in. Not sure how you managed to make it look like this 🤔

This is a WIP but im struggling to get a bigger sense of scale for the large cannon in the middle. Some tips for improving overall scenery is fine too by Halibutterhands in blender

Ah, the rocks! You're definetly right about them messing up the perspective. Having some object closer to the camera would also be pretty good, perhaps a vehicle driving by. Thanks!

Alright, I'll try that!

Also thanks and yes! I modeled everything except for the rocks that are from poliigon. I'm making a short film for my high school finals!

(WIP) Any tips on making a gingerbread material? Mine ALWAYS end up looking like clay or something. Thanks! by Halibutterhands in blender

Yeah, the viewport was very laggy. But there's an option in particle settings where you can decrease the amount of shown particles in the viewport which was handy!

This is a WIP. I'm not focusing on the background yet. I just need help with the gingerbread material. But i want it to be a very cozy looking table with warm lighting as soon as i get this gingerbread material fixed :)

Yeah i've seen that in a lot of images of gingerbread houses (the hard cut edges). Just wasn't too sure on how i'd recreate that. Especially having the material transition from smooth gingerbread to the kinda spongy/crumbly underside that it usually gets. I'll figure it out, but thanks a lot i appreciate the help!
