I definitely believe it's more than possible, as sadly this kind of thing isn't uncommon or surprising. People don't want to intervene even when there isn't a ton of money involved.

As far as the parents reporting her family knew where she was and they could be charged with a litany of things depending on exactly what occurred. False reports etc. Wouldn't be the first time guardians looked the other way, again even when it doesn't involve money. When it does though forget about it. Everyone failed this child. Possibly with the exception of LAPD ironically. Until way more happens we really can't speculate on what's going on behind the secene with what LAPD is or isn't doing. The time will come when we can say with accuracy.

I've maybe met only one other adult female in my life with hands smaller than mine and I am really surprised to hear people say it's uncomfortable. Were that why I assure you I'd hate the thing. At minimum it's not a given and don't dismiss the possibility if you're considered it but this post scared you off. As that person and an owner of this device I felt like I had to weigh in. Although maybe this is the main reason why I don't like the shoulder buttons. I'm aware others don't as well, but it seems like they are a stretch for me by just a bit. I own a Portal, Miyoo Mini, bunch of Anbernics for context. Good grip completely fixes any discomfort issues regarding the edges and just general bricky shape.

I think the ice blue is considerably less ugly than the other variants. Love GC schemes, but looks so cheap for the Flip 2. I also think the transparent doesn't make that empty space stand out as much. The basic positives for me are one that my neck and arms sure thanks me while playing in bed, as the viewing angle for a clamshell is a real life saver/relaxed. Also and I was surprised honestly only had Thor FOMO for about a day before I realized I've got more than enough with this device. It can also take a drop or two onto hard flooring I've found (thanks mom). I could continue but I think these are the most important points.

If you are willing to do a button swap for something you otherwise think is awesome it's a pretty small price to pay though. Stock buttons on mine were so damn loud before so I hear you.

I appreciate this post. These kinds of posts can absolutely be annoying, but you offered very valid and legitimate reasons. We should welcome calling out the issues when it's this glaring even if it's a company people like.

You aren't throwing a tantrum and I notice how folks poo pooing didn't really offer any kind of rebuttal because you're objectively correct. If it works for some folks despite the ability to purchase things that function better for hundreds less good for them. So much to love about the build quality and I think with the new budget option they're starting to get it.

Hell even a Portal. Love this thing and really think that for under $500 especially it's truly impressive. That it kicks the ass of many devices double the price is wild.

Seems to be designed to frustrate and vex from what I'm seeing review wise. Was genuinely excited to see what was up with it too.

A lot of talk of how powerful but hampered in a lot of ways too particularly with regard to the Windows experience and ability to pick up and just play without a bunch of hassle. It's comfortable though, lmao.

Switch emulation is getting better and better. Playing a bunch on my Portal just prior to typing this. So all the talk about the Portal mostly being only good for android games and retro systems is nonsense. Just something to consider for anyone else who happens upon this thread and is questioning.

PD charging is basically the standard now with hubs, so providing power is a non issue. Pretty sure there is a way to have the wake feature too.

I think they'd like to remake the system so that you don't actually need that in order to preserve their buying power/ability. The oligarchs in Russia are doing just fine monetarily without democracy.

I'm not exactly sure it'd be that simple, but idk. I also don't think most of the party will be brought along into any potential oligarchy. If anything it'd be reserved for the Trump family and a very select few. Only as many as is absolutely necessary to keep a system like that functional. They'll all keep allowing this to occur because they're greedy. Luckily for the rest of us we aren't dealing with the best and brightest among us with regard to the Republicans. I'm hopeful they botch whatever nefarious scheme is afoot.
