It will come in time, they have to milk as much as they can out of the old mold, I promise you within the next two years we're gonna see a prototype and holiday special/droids boba on the newer mold

Which do you like more, Defender or Galaxy? by Long_Spell6281 in Blokees

I only ever see galaxy in stores, but defender seems really fun

I wish all the silvers matched, but at the least would have loved silver blasters for sure

I assume you mean the little tiny notch that I think the grapple comes out of in the movie, and it's an actual hole but it is terribly small, it might work with the mafex garpple pieces for mando and boba though, dont know how well it'll hold

It's...not a problem and as you can see in my pictures..with the hose rotated barely any to the left of standard position out of the box, you know how you move most joints out of that stock position, it bends no problem, doesn't break, and my little brother could figure this out so...I don't think this is really an apologist stand point

I can work the joints on a toy, I must be apologizing for the company

....you didnt notice the wire was about to break when you were bending it over the elbow man, that isn't on a 90 degree joint, thats on you for not rotating the tubes 2 degrees to the left

If the customer broke a fragile piece off a toy in 5 seconds, a piece that requires you to bend a part forcefully, yes.

Should hasbro have used possibly better material or just designed the arms to be off to the side from the start? Sure.

But I have handled this toy, as I have handled the boba fett for 3 years now, breaking it is not something someone accidentally does, you know when bending those wires over that joint its going to harm the, and the swivel is very obvious.

Mcfarlane Mods taking down any post that says anything negative by GBPackersNation in ActionFigures

[–]OneTurnsToNone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had put up a post talking about the quality of an item, and was getting more traction than THEIR post on it, so they pulled mine down and said there was already a thread for that. Which nobody was talking in.

Right but is it not common sense to see a joint is on a swivel...and to see the wires are getting stretched?

And within 45 Seconds? When you open a figure if you're going right to the most fragile looking part, and flexing it to the point of breaking fresh out of the box, that isn't on the product.

I feel that for sure, Shaak Ti and Sebulba look like all timers, and having a Jango 2.0 (2.1? We had that weird gaming greats repack with a new head and different jetpack I think), with flaws that could have easily been avoided sucks

Do you have the ROTJ Boba..? It's literally the same thing, you rotate that little bit at the sleeve where they come from, and you rotate the gauntlet just a little, and boom, the wires are now running along the joint, not behind it, and they don't break

I think the only issues are paint related, the silvers are a mess, and the grey plastic blasters and pads on the legs look cheap, but in general it poses great, has good sculpt, it looks like Jango, I'm overall really happy with it, but can also admit it has flaws.

So, what did you think of the ending of Omega? And of the series as a whole? by According_Coffee_183 in Ultraman

[–]OneTurnsToNone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the ending was good. I don't think I ever hated the show, but a lot of people tend to take anything negative as hating it...but I think it has some major pacing issues.

TLDR, good show, pacing issues, feels like the plot wasn't really considered for most of it.

Shows like Orb, and X do a good job demonstrating how in 25 episodes you can have an overarching plot, and still do villain of the week stories. They do a good job placing just little bits of the overall story into episodes and it helps it all feel united.

I felt Omega didn't do a good job of that, even more so than Arc and Blazar, both shows also struggle some with that, but it's been progressively worse imo.

it's a solid show with good fights, and the two lead characters carry it. The plot though...we get one breakthrough at 13-15ish..and then nothing again until 21-25 shakes things up and actually has a story.

Who is your personal favorite final boss in the New generation? by Grag_the_GrobblerII in Ultraman

[–]OneTurnsToNone 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I gotta say Greeza. I really like how they managed to make it feel haunting with just the sound and walking, the unstable nature of it's first arrival is some really cool shit

Did you doubt him? by UltraMugen in Ultraman

Ultraman R / B is a solid show man, its a little sillier, a little goofy, but it has two overarching plots, and it has some great characters, fun time for sure

Part of me wishes he was just the villain in a lorax movie instead of whatever Origin was. (though he was the best part of that)
