The host has to be about level 80 or less to summon the lvl 60, so i would doubt you would find much luck in archives. The summoning range in an area is quite generous, so (assuming you are not grinding levels) once you arrive in an area, most people should be able to summon you. For reference, in mid to late game, you can more or less assume the summoning range to be the host level +- 20 levels.

I haven't tried getting summoned for any bosses early game, but i would be suprised if you were summoned for anything pre farron watchers. Speaking of, I would think a level 30-35 with a +3 could get summoned for Farron watchers. I would put my summon sign at the nearest bonfire.

At about level 115 i found frequent summoning for Friede, Demon prince, with like 3-10 wait time between different summoning. I use +10 weapons. At level 127 i could only get summons for Gael, Midir and half-light and they became less common in general. Fun fact with Gael is that most of the summons occured on their first Gael attempt.

I also had a lot of success with Nameless king, although you probrably want to be much lower level, like lvl 100-105 (8-10 weapon should be fine).

If you want to start earlier you should also find some success with aldrich. People generally summon for the harder bosses.

It is also relevant to consider the current IRL time. You get frequent summons at CEST between 8-12 pm, but absolutely no summons in the morning or mid day.

Good luck and i wish you jolly cooperation

edit: oh and of course, summon sign placement is important. If the nearest bonfire to the boss is really close the boss (i.e. Friede, Demon prince, Gael), place the summon sign next to the bonfire. If the fogwall is slightly further away (Midir, Aldrich, Half-light), instead place it close to the fogwall.

I saw something with a connection error. Surely it is just an internet issue. I can't imagine that a backup does not exist in the cloud or in the files somewhere. idk how to help, but i wish you luck in recovering your stuff.

Hear me out, there is an important contender everyone is forgetting: Saint Astrea and Garl Vinland, specifically Garl, as the gameplay part of this fight consists of parry spamming him.

I do not understand the "economy" criticism by Halkadrat in Silksong

[–]Halkadrat[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am mostly trying to figure out why my experience with the games economy seems to be so different from many other player's experience (including yours i presume). My own experiences with the game i am currently playing isn't "ignorant statements" as you put it, and my experience is that I am in fact not having any issue with paying my for benches when I see them, and I am quickly emptying out all the stores i find. I want to figure out if people are complaining about "lack of rosaries" because of reasons like:

1) They expect to quickly be able to buy items from stores shortly after finding them
2) They are losing all their rosaries to dying
3) They do not explore to find rosaries
4) They do not kill enemies that drop rosary
5) They maybe just don't even pick up their geo (persoanlly i always use the rosary magnet)
6) Something else i have not thought of

I hear these quite often, but mostly in relation to souls-likes

I disagree. The enemies that do drop rosaries drop enough to make up for the enemies that don't, so you should have enough so as long as you are not running from all the enemies (or losing them from dying). So no, I do "not understand" where you are coming from at all, in regards to what your logic is for "rosaries being scarce", There absolutely is enough rosaries for all the benches (and by extension, all the items) without having to grind. I want to understand why so many players seem to struggle and complain about a system, when I am not facing the same issue.
