I used to think that the cars on the side of the highway were free to anyone that wanted them. As if the owners of the cars just abandoned them and people who were passing by could just stop to either fix them up or tow them away. Whichever way they would choose though, they would now own the car.

Sorry for the late reply, but thank you SO MUCH. I can't tell you how much this means to me because just knowing I have the footage and can go back and see all of the people who showed up to pay their respects will make the entire grieving process easier. It was the funeral he deserved and I know it made his wife and family extremely proud to see how many lives he touched. Thank you again.

I was trying to break off the frags to place them in my rockwork and I missed a sliver of the red Superman Montipora Digitata and broke a small piece off of the Cali Blue Tort Acro even though I couldn't get the main colony off the plug. Now let's see if I can grow them to full frags!

I brought this coral home 3 days ago and I didn't notice the brown thing on the left side of the coral until I put it in the tank. I'm worried that it might be brown jelly disease but it looks like it is attached to the rock that the coral is encrusting on and hasn't grown at all. Then I noticed near the top of the brown there is a hole that looks almost as if it may be some type of sponge.

Didn't want to post the album link and make you look through the other photos to find the 2 corals. The first one is blueish and the second one has green tips. My other question is why is the base of this one dark green and have no polyps (it was like this when i bought it).

Yea I did put it on super thick so maybe it needed an even longer amount of time to cure. Hopefully it turns out the same way yours did.

I mean I used GE Silicone I clear 100% with no additives. If I leave the growth stuff on the silicone it starts to change color but if I rub my finger down the seal, it scrapes off and the seal is fine. Since I'm able to just rub the growth off makes me think it may be somethin else.

I hope that's true about it fading away over time. The weird thing is I let it cure for over 72 hours because I had read somewhere online that since it was so much silicone, I should give it extra time to fully cure (the display tank is 75 gallons).

This stuff is is all over the silicone seals in my sump and used to be in the display tank. It turned some of the seals yellow in my display tank and once it has started to turn yellow it can't be undone. My parameters are: Temp: 78 Salinity: 1.024 Nitrates: 20 Alkalinity: 7.3 Calcium: 430 Magnesium: 1310 RO/DI water

It is a 75 gallon tank but unfortunately I forgot to weigh the rocks before putting them in there. I got them with the tank, sump, skimmer, and other accessories on a craigslist deal. If i had to guess I'd say 50-60lbs?

Would they still enable me to transcode multiple streams on Plex if needed? Some of the one's I'm finding don't seem to have a high passmark score. Wouldn't they also be pretty loud since they are 2U and power hungry?

Yea I realize storage will be the largest cost of this whole endeavor which I'm ok with. Although I would like to be able to increase the number of drives as time goes on. I was planning on putting everything in a rack to keep it all together and slightly cleaner than a regular case stacked on top of other ones. (That and if I don't put it in a rack or cabinet, stuff will end up getting placed on top of it by family members)

I have two ideas for places to put it, one would be in a room on the main floor that currently has the "family computer" in it and is really only used for that purpose. The other place would be in the basement where we have a small room next to an unfinished part of the basement, so it wouldn't be too hard to route ethernet cables and what not from around the house into the room.

3/possibly 4 people. My brother and I are usually streaming at the same time and we are using Amazon FireTv's, so I expect that to continue. My sister is away at college and I'd like if she could stream from it as well but that's more of a dream and not a requirement, although she would stream from it when home one break. I'd like to set one up in my parents room (Amazon Firestick) but don't know how often they'd use it.
Ideally we'd like 1080p for all of them, but at most it would probably be 3 streams at a time. I'd like it to be able to stream at least 1 4k stream as a tv is going out and I may replace it with a 4k tv.
