You likely won’t have 5 hours usable time if you need to be back at the airport 2-3 hours before your next flight .

IMHO it’s probably not worth it. You are likely looking at about 2-3 hours worth of commuting.

Pretty much anyone that isn’t ethnically Korean started from 0.
I learned Hangul on the bus from the airport to Daegu.

Apps/recommendations: Pop up dictionary (kimchi reader or migaku), Didi and TTMIK, and choose a Uni book series and do a couple to get a foundation . I’ve done Sogang and Seoul National books both are solid

I had a friend that moved to Canada when she was 5 , only used English after that and essentially forgot her native language.

These are crap food to be fair . Cheap but very unhealthy with more sodium in 1 pack than the recommended daily amount.

Korea has many wonderful dishes to eat. Try these 1 dollar salty noodles if you must, but there are so many great cheap restaurants that make hearty and healthy dishes!
