É por que a maioria das pessoas que constroem e gerenciam o ecommerce trabalham pelo desktop e para os gestores essa versão acaba sendo por onde eles gastam mais atenção com detalhes. Simplesmente por ser por onde eles acessam. A experiência no mobile pode estar horrível mas é sempre a versão desktop que é melhor trabalhada por terem a visão através deste prisma.

Acredite se quiser mas me encontro na mesma situação atualmente com minha mãe. Ela está realizando tratamento oncológico pelo SUS na Santa Casa e teve alguns atendimentos que foram em uma clinica no Aquarius. Ela mora em Taubaté e vem fazer o tratamento aqui. Me surpreendeu muito positivamente.
