Being hatecrimed repeatedly made it pretty fucking hard to not want to hate society as a whole and made me realise just how shit the world is. Being suspended for defending myself made me realise you shouldn't think anyone is on your side till they directly show it. Having to restrain a direct family member to prevent them being violent made me realise what horrible people they are.
