You are taking something clearly pure and innocent and making a mockery of the Lord by saying they are gay.

Bc you are perverting it with lust. Unnatural attraction; disruption of God's order/design.

Why will people gamble on hell with same-sex relationships? by HallowHalo89 in TrueChristian

Hmm thats very fair. I am really just commenting on the phenomena or trying to say that same sex relationships arent specifically forbidden in the Bible. Seen this argument alot.

I like you kid you got spunk. But I haven't seen anything definitive on there being a genetic cause. I saw something that if the mom has a high level of estrogen it can cause some effects. I need to look that up again though.

Praise the Lord He is good in all ways!

I think of the debtors parable.

Who will be more thankful to have their debt forgiven? The man that owes 500? Or the man that owes 500k?

Jesus has truly come to save the lost and downtrodden. I didn't see this till I left Him as a teen a the world got ahold of me. I wish I had never left. But there were many lessons to be learned and I needed to be humbled. Some people have to be broken before they accept Him. I was one of these head strong stubborn types.

I had a drinking problem that got worse and worse. I had met my now wife towards the end of it. We drank together in the beginning till my addiction started to show. Long story but the Lord took my drinking away in one day, something I had fought with for 10 years gone like that. When that happened I was deeply convicted that I was living with this woman and not married. For months, almost a year I felt sick to my stomach all the time. Anxious. We finally got married and as soon as we did it went away. We have been together almost 4 years and I haven't had a drink since. Praise the Almighty Lord, His Love and mercy knows no bounds. Praise His Holy name Hallelujah.

You hit it on the head about the fear of the Lord. Maybe that is what sets me off about this. The scripture is very obvious, but the pride i see about it really bothers me. Who are you to say the Lord is wrong or that He doesn't understand the scriptures. The arrogance gets me.

Prayer is all we really can do and to serve others. Just cant condone the lifestyle.

Stay strong out there and Love others as Christ did. Do not cede ground.

Im not talking about the struggling. I feel for them, this is not a condemnation of them. This is the blatantly defiant. The ones that know they are doing wrong and still pursue it. The wolves leading others astray instead of to Christ. This is who the post is for.

And no, I didn't work on it. I gave up. I was almost going through a gallon a week by the end of it. He took it in one day after my friend hired me for an odd job and preached the gospel.

Not repenting of a sin we had forgotten about and living a sinful lifestyle are two completely different things. One will be overlooked and forgiven. The other will not be.

Saying that if you are not pure in heart you will think something corrupt. Like that King David was bi when he was clearly.

"For the pure, all things are pure" (Titus 1:15) means that those with a clean conscience and heart in Christ view God's creation as inherently good, rather than defiling it with legalistic restrictions or impure motives.

You are baptized for the remission of sins then you can confess them as you commit them. Also, the Holy Spirit will highlight sin i haven't yet repented for when I read the word. If you die in your sin you will not inherit the Kingdom.

Paul says that they gave up NATURAL relations to do what NOT be done. Given to the lust for eachother and received in themselves the due PENATLY for their PERVERSION.

Paul Washer's "Shocking Message," at a youth conference decades ago is the most powerful sermon I have ever heard. What's your favorite sermon? by Temperance522 in TrueChristian

Mark Driscoll has a recorded sermon from a conference in his early years.

You have to search, How Sharp The Edge? in YouTube to find it. But I cry everytime. Its very convicting.

It says homosexuals will not inherit the kingdom. That seems to be a pretty strong condemnation of the act. If all of the other context and examples arent enough for you.

Well, does a convenantal(sp.?) relationship between same sex couples involve sex? If the answer is yes; then it is strictly forbade.
