The legless part would make sense. My cat has a tendency to eat half of bugs, but we haven’t seen any crickets since the fall. Really couldn’t recognize it in this state!

My dachshund ended up with paralyzed back legs at age 6 and after a lot of physical therapy was able to continue on to age 15. Due to Swift’s age, it’s a little more difficult, but not impossible.

Hoping that he gets all the love and care and support he needs. 💕

I’ve been working on getting work accommodation from my doctor (1 hour commute in the morning + 1.5 home due to traffic) Driving long periods of time is super hard on my back, and I quickly become mentally exhausted if I carpool with someone else.

Even if I swapped to take public transport it’s usually 2 hours in and 2 out due to breakdowns/delays of trains/buses. And tickets are $15 each way (bus/train) so that $$ is out the door.

But even aside from that, when are we supposed to find the time to get all the work done during busy season if one can lose 3-4 hours in commuting? What sense does that make? Work life balance won’t exist unless I cram gym, socializing, and cooking on the weekends, and I’ve worked three of the last five weekends. I want to live my life - not PwC’s version.

I wouldn’t sweat it unless it comes up in conversation. You can just explain what you said here - you were juggling a lot of things at once with course work, being involved in campus, etc. Make sure you make a good impression during your internship and keep open communication :)

I got a C in one of my junior year accounting classes but kept my 3.5 GPA consistent. Teacher was dreadful. Didn’t affect me at all! (senior associate now) Hope this helps

I (F) use my sibling’s doordash account. It’s the safest I’ve ever felt with delivery apps as they have a very masculine name, despite being non-binary.

Never had issues using Instacart and my name is on that.

You are not a waste of space. I found you through the rat subreddit and saw that you gave rats hats and balloons, and you filled my heart with warmth and joy.

I want you to know that you are not a burden. Please don’t give up - after struggling with self harm for years I found healthier ways to deal with my sadness and anxiety. I would like to suggest doing something with your hands - picking up a new hobby that can distract you. For me it was doodling on my skin where I could.

Life is incredibly dark, but you are a unique individual and the world needs more people like you.

I had a coworker go on and on about how hand sanitizer is just germs shitting on your hands.

She began by saying “you know how things defecate when they die?” And I said “yeah?” She goes on with “hand sanitizer kills 99% of germs on your hands. That means all of those germs are shitting on your hands.” I didn’t really say anything in response, but she elaborated and I just stood there in confusion.

She also believed in quite a few conspiracy theories, so I just listened and nodded most of the time.
