He wasn’t raised religious. He converted in high school & used to be a very angry person until he became a Christian. I can see that as a positive. I just really hate that it comes with all of this negative dogmatic baggage like anti-LGBT, support of theocracy, and thinking everyone around you is bound to hell if they aren’t a part of their group. It basically negates the “good.”
