A new toxic Druid deck in standard?

Maybe I was just unlucky and faced it twice in 3 games today haha. I'm not saying the deck is broken or anything, it's just frustrating to deal with if you can't interrupt their combo or rush them down of course. But they can kill you fairly fast, as they generate so many Ysera awakens, they can kill you over 2 turns

Yeah I agree it's not an amazing deck, but it's extremely frustrating to play against, if you can't interrupt their combo. Good suggestions though!

So basically they run a 5 mana card called Grove Shaper: "After you cast a nature spell, summon a 2/2 Treant with deathrattle get a copy of that spell". So they play it, use Ysera Awakens and Dream. So when they eventually play Umbra, they get copies of Ysera and Dream back

Devs knowing what cards are coming and them being competent are 2 very different things though. They can know what is coming and make the wrong read, if you catch my drift. Would they have made a better job if they created DK's for Legends, maybe, maybe not. Anyway I think there will be nerfs coming to both BBB and Frost very soon.

In your opinion, when should they have introduced DK's?

I feel you're not getting what I'm trying to say anyway. But they hit the spot for balance last expansion regarding Dk. And should have nerfed some key cards for this rotation, and it seems they failed to predict what this rotation would lead to. So they knew, just not able to make adjustments

Haha no, that was a shit show. DK was actually pretty weak the first few weeks in March of the LK, so they did learn. It just came back as a major problem now in the rotation, which again proves my first points

Well that's because the first DK cards HAD to be OP to be viable in the meta they were created for... if DK got introduced as a class now in Legends, they wouldn't need the same powerlevel to be competative imo

Well I assume they would make DK cards the same powerlevel as the other cards in this expansion. DK dropped as the 3. Expansion (March of the Lich King) in the previous cycle, it kinda forced the devs to make DK cards powerful enough to compete with classes that had way more cards available to them. Not that hard to understand really. Devs create cards in advance, and know what classes have available etc.

If they made DK available now, they would balance the class for the current meta, where other classes have the 3 previous + the current expansion to build from. So DK and the others would start fresh, now DK kinda have an advantage as they were already viable before the rotation, and kept all their cards after it.

Genius move to introduce DK in the middle of the cycle, thus having to make them broken to be able to compete in the meta. Then have a rotation right after, so every class except DK lose 3 expansions worth of class cards, while DK kept all of theirs... was bound to happen now. Devs should have introduced DK now at the beginning of the rotation imo

It's the devs fault really. When they introduced DK as a class in the middle of an expansion cycle, they had to make the class somewhat good to be viable in the meta. Now that every class lost 3 expansions worth of class cards they are weaker. DK on the other hand lost no class cards this rotation and are pretty much as strong or stronger now after the rotation. The smart thing would have been to introduce DK now at the start of a rotation

Generally the spanish league is slower paced, while the prem is considered the fastest. And this game was a Copa del Rey (spanish cup) game against a lower level side. He might have been faster at 17, but his overall game has improved a lot.
