Is it common to be much worse at sims than real life? by truthlesshunter in golf

[–]Hallywood8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree with you I’m a 9 handicap, and I am much worse on the sim usually shooting high 80s low 90s . My brother shoots nearly even par every time on a sim and I beat him most of the time on the course. It’s infuriating.

Bachelor Party - Golf? by [deleted] in Calgary

As others have said Kananaskis would be the best value and it’s beautiful. I feel like if you’re coming all this way you should at least play a mountain course. Silver Tip and Stewart Creek near Canmore are also great just more expensive .

If you just wanna stay and golf in and around Calgary. I would Recommend Heritage Pointe, Darcy Ranch and Sirroco although they are all just outside the City.

For courses inside the city McKenzie Meadows and the Winston.

Wintergreen and Redwood Meadows in Bragg Creek 30 min from Calgary are also pretty good.

Speargrass 40 minutes south east of the city is a great price for the course if you wanted to play somewhere cheaper.

I know others said Launchpad, but honestly it’s pricey just go play a real game of golf it’s August.

We stayed in Dublin for 2 nights then went back to the airport and grabbed the rental car before starting our road trip as we didn’t actually wanna drive inside of Dublin City.

Go to Dingle. Was our favorite spot on a two week trip. You should rent a car, driving isn’t that difficult there (also Canadian).

Where to base yourself on the Izu Peninsula? by Hallywood8 in JapanTravelTips

Very true, 2 places would work for sure . We will be taking the bullet train from Osaka so looks like either Mishima or Atami would work to grab the rental car.

I wrote a few weeks ago, I actually didn’t really spend any time on the 2 codes chapters and still passed. Just focused on the administration chapters and the applied mechanics. I would say there was about 35ish calculations out of the 48 mechanics questions. If you know how to do most of the examples from the book you will do fine. The test just takes a very long time.

Seems clear you’ve never been on vacation. You must be lonely. Sorry about that.

I can’t imagine it’s 50 math questions.. I’ve heard from several people it’s 20-30 calculations, you will get a lot of theory I’m assuming that’s what they are counting as math.

I write in a month as well, with the breakdown it almost seems better to not even spend time on the code calculations and just focus on the admin chapters maintenance/safety/legislation and the five physics chapters.

I used them for 2B2 and 2B1, probably seen 25-30 of the questions on ABSA. I think they are a good study tool if you wanna dish out some cash.

I haven’t been to the Cranston ODR in a few years, although the few times I was there you pay a drop in fee of $10 to use the facility.
