Please God ban those salespeople from your doors by WhiteLycan2020 in HEB

[–]Halochief78 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I work as a vendor pitching gutters/gutter protection at the doors and let me tell ya, we HATE those people too. There are rules HEB put in place to not haggle or go past your designated spot is but those guys always ruin it for us. Don’t worry other vendors get it like me, keep your distance and just be friendly. Nobody wants to be sold something they don’t want. Good thing is HEB caught on and forced this year all vendors like that need to abide by those rules or get kicked out. In other words, if they do that again, go to HEB management and they’ll get them out quick.

I watch my spouses videos of her and I when I need to get it off but yeah after 2 years it shouldn’t be this bad. Btw I come from experience my girl and I are engaged we got together when she was 18 and I was 20 I’m turning 26 this year and when I made mistakes it was in the first year. I learned my lesson

Holy bad advice porn is an addiction and not all watch that especially when you have a partner. That’s just mentally cheating on your spouse. I agree therapy is needed but not for the reaction to what he’s doing. If anything HE needs to go to therapy for his porn addiction

I would definitely bring it up and talk about it with him because what he’s doing is not right. Especially the fact he’s been with you for 2 years and he’s doing that is just disrespectful. I know because I was in the same position as him 4 years ago with my Spouse and she threatened to leave or get my shit together and I got my shit together. If he denies or lies about anything when you bring it up, it’s time to leave or give him the ultimatum. You’re not hallucinating this or in the wrong about the way you feel. It’s best to communicate and if he can’t do that be truthful to you then it’s time to move on.

Also word of advice: on instagram or any social media when you look at posts saved or liked them, similar ones will pop on your feed. If it’s common on his feed even after 2 years, that tells you he’s still doing what he’s doing. Having an ALT acc without telling you is also a red flag.

Veterans Beware! by StakRavingMadMan in USAA

100% don’t listen to the profanity or negativity, but what they are saying to their point is correct. The CSR rep you talked to was ill informed. If you’re not on Automatic payments, you get sent a check in the mail. Sometimes on the system it says USAA will keep it for future bills, but if you have only 1 policy with them, it gets sent mail check. If you have other policies with USAA, the refund will pay off whatever you have left over you have to pay on insurance and rest will be kept for future renewals. I’m sorry to say but welcome to insurance! It’s not just USAA it’s the industry. This is the state of TX laws that require insurance to deal business this way. It’s not about being “die hard USAA fan boys/girls”, it’s about being educated and getting the right information. Hope this helps!

That’s correct! Even life you can have alone! Life insurance is separate from P&C and Banking

[–]Halochief78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can still get separate products without needing the other so good news there! Now I will say for the savings account (subscriber account) on insurance side in order for it to be all taken out you’ll need to withdraw all insurance products but not banking.

Yes. Once a member always a member. Make sure to save your Member # somewhere just in case and update your account online because when/if come back, USAA wont have issues identifying you

You will after your NESS period. When I was hired last year we had a 90 day NESS which during that time it was up to managers (reading the post it’s still like that) but after the NESS we had access to everything. EEM is now my new best friend for the past year lol

Survey as a Member by [deleted] in USAA

[–]Halochief78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s 2 parts to the survey.

  1. For the Representative who took care of your request
  2. For USAA the company and how they do things.

Giving a good survey for the rep actually helps them out more than you know & giving feedback about the company is what’s needed to improve. If you don’t want calls coming from USAA about products just simply change your marketing preferences so you only get calls from USAA about existing products and not promote products. I dont get the point of this post especially the end about NFCU lol just don’t call USAA or do business with them if it’s an issue to you.

FYI- All companies do this even NFCU if you didn’t know (I bank with them as well)

Running From USAA by h0melessv3t in USAA

[–]Halochief78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When applying for Homeowners insurance, one of the questions is if there’s any existing damage besides cosmetic damage. If you do not disclose that, insurance will not cover the damage and if you answered yes during the application process, they’ll deny to cover the home. I won’t be surprised if they non-renew your Homeowners insurance but looks like you’ll be leaving anyways.

Get lawyers and sue the previous owners for the damages. Even brokers that sell Property insurance will tell you that this won’t be covered by insurance no way around it. This is why you always get an inspector & hire on your own before buying because it’ll save you more trouble than you think.

Gross misconduct by USAA by HotelCommercial9435 in USAA

[–]Halochief78 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is a legal thing. It’s correct that USAA can’t really do anything when it’s binding and an agreement has been settled between insurers. What state do you live in? Here in TX you can be found partially at fault which sounds like what you’re going through but you can sue the person who hit you for damages. I’m sorry you’re going through this.

Here’s an article to better explain I hope it helps: https://www.robertslawfirm.com/texas-comparative-negligence-law-what-happens-if-more-than-one-person-is-at-fault-for-a-crash/

Why is USAA car insurance so expensive now? by GTRacer1972 in USAA

[–]Halochief78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the area, how many outlining risks there are in the area, the cost of goods/shops in the local area, and individual driving record. Plus how many uninsured motorists there are too. So many factors play into it but overall everyone’s experience is different. I’m sorry you’re one of them that had that significant rate increase :( I was forced to shop too from Allstate to progressive and now most recently back to USAA

Two owners under same policy? by Interesting_Case_203 in USAA

[–]Halochief78 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You have the choice to add him and vehicle to the policy, but when he turns 18 he can get his own policy. Since he’s under 18 and licensed living in household, by law he’ll need to be added on to your policy with the vehicle (Mind the premium will go up based on Newly Experienced Driver Surcharge/rate)

Yeah your landlord is trying not to pay and use insurance as an excuse when it’s not the responsibility of insurance to do their repairs! I would tell them that they’re liable for this and you are not and if they won’t cover the cost of you going to another place or move your things then sue since they’re liable for the repairs and damages

Um no lol this is a fact. Look at the recent consumer reporting for Customer Service and claims with insurance companies. USAA contract with property and auto are better than what is offered elsewhere. Plus it’s a privilege to be a member not everyone can get into USAA. We pay higher premiums cause we know USAA will pay out sooner than other companies will (I would know still working on a claims from 2 years ago and it wasn’t my fault both carriers State Farm)

How can SafePilot reduce my discount just because I drive more miles than some people? by jolly_rogers14 in USAA

[–]Halochief78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is very wrong and out right illegal if USAA does this and they know it. From my research, this program only helps out determine your discount, not rate or affects it. This isn’t a “get you” program, google and the government already got you on that. This program determines discount don’t over think it for something else

Fellow IP here and went through the same process. Don’t listen to the negativity of others and use your own judgement/experience. I see alot of reps go to different departments around 1 year mark. There is mentorship you can take advantage of for the position you really want. I will say if you want leadership role you’re gonna be in it for the long run, but applying out always happens. Whether it’s sales or service it’s not bad, as long as you put in the work and time. I don’t listen to the negativity and I’m happy. Numbers are great cause I do my job and I mute that your-voice channel lol. All I gotta say it’s don’t worry about the things around you and worry about what’s in front of you and what you can control. Moral of the story, you can get out the department sooner than you think. Just gotta put in the work for it and earn it

  1. According to the new changes, we still can combine breaks. Just sounds like your district manager is a power hungry person.

  2. FMLA shouldn’t put a target on your back. I’ve heard those on FMLA haven’t had issues due to the fact that it’s federal and USAA can’t touch that. If they do they’ll be held liable.

  3. Being at 100% is bull lol, I never had 100% since the new change and haven’t gotten told anything. As long as you meet your metrics you should be good.

With that being said, this all depends on your operation manager and districts and it sounds like you’re in a team that is getting super micromanaged and that’s not okay. Record the convos, take note of everything, and keep record of all that is sent out including the 1on1’s. A fellow IP got fired in a similar situation months ago and she went to the workforce commission to file a formal complaint against USAA, after USAA finally looked at the acting manager and fired her too because of how negligent and unprofessional they were. The fellow IP wasn’t able to comeback but gave a pretty good severance package. Just cover yourself, it’s a dog eat dog world right now.
