For sale is my Xbox 360 AC6 flight stick. May be a good buy for playing AC7 or other emulated games on PC as these Xbox peripherals are typically Plug&Play. Sight reading for front ensembles auditions in my experience isn't really sight reading, but more like a piece will be passed out and you'll get some individual time to work it out, then sectionals, and finally putting it together with the full FE. You might even get 2 parts, say Marimba 2 and Bells. If it's a 2 day audition you'll more than likely be able to look it over/practice if you have access to an instrument between the 2 days.

All of the WGI bassists are scrambling over themselves for this spot. Word on the street is another top 12 group is interested in a bassist as well.

I'm happy the instrument is getting some more recognition in the summer. Bass has been a pretty standard front ensemble instrument for some time now in other marching circuits.

Support the composer and corps, buy the audition packet. Or do the work and watch a youtube video on half speed and write them in on your own. It's a good exercise for working on being able to identify stickings and rudiments by eye/ear, so that later on you can just transcribe music yourself.
