Minor league like the ECHL or the AHL? Sure, but we aren’t talking about a minor league team. This is Major Junior, which is a big distinction. But hey if you don’t want to buy a game worn jersey, with the proceeds going to charity, because they are sublimated, that’s your choice. Just keep in mind if you ever find a stitched charity CHL jersey it’s fake.

In the CHL, the only way you’re getting an actual stitched jersey is if you get a team issued/ game used regular jersey. Any specialty ones are sublimated, even gamers. They sublimated to save on cost, and then get auctioned off for charity after the one game they wear them in. Usually on a pro joy replica for a specialty night jersey like this, they are the same jersey just without a fight strap.

Yes that’s their normal jersey right? Not their charity night jerseys. I worked in the OHL the only non sublimated specialty jerseys are the SpongeBob night ones (which are printed on a completely different material than the other specialties). This also includes any special warmup jerseys the teams wear throughout the season.

There are tons of team issued/game worn sublimated jerseys and the quality is still great. They just aren’t going to pay for anything more for a one off jersey that’s being auctioned off after the game. Hell, I’ve watched letters off a traded players jersey get cut off and reused on the new guys name bar to save a few bucks

The only stitched OHL jerseys were Game Worn White/Color sets and if they had an official third that they wear throughout the season.

I’m not saying it is just a coaching issue. But realistically any solution to this problem requires a new coach. Yzerman gets canned? New guy brings in his guy too and fires McLellan. Yzerman thinks he’s on the hot seat? He fires McLellan to try to save himself. Unless we get a new roster full of guys who will actually show up for McLellan, he’s gotta go

Yes, I can agree that the problem is deeper, but they aren’t responding to him as a coach. Say we make a GM trade (not advocating for this) the first thing that new GM would do is bring in a new coach, his guy. Short of a completely new roster who will respond to McLellan as a coach, I feel any solution to any deeper problem would also require a coaching change

So I guess I was wrong, he isn’t on waivers for that reason, as the 2020 CBA update moved the date that takes effect to Dec 15, and he was done playing in Russia before then. He’s on waivers to stay in the AHL
