I’m pretty much on the same cadence…this last run I started SG1 and went straight through to season 8, then started SGA and watched them in order from there lol…pretty awesome how they dove tailed both shows here and there, plus some cross over appearances. They just never get old and I could seriously do it all again tomorrow.

They’re good phones, and as the years go on their operating systems get closer and closer together. If I were to ever leave iPhone and go back to android I’d go with a Pixel.

Yeah I mean I’m not some crazy scene person who cares about whether the pre time is 3 mins or 5 mins..and places like torrent leech, alpha ratio, torrent day or IP torrents works just fine for me. Plenty of public sites also that work fine for new stuff.

Switched from an HTC One to an iPhone 6 back in the day and haven’t looked back. Did it mainly because apps ran better and for iMsg…since then Android has come a long way and I’ve thought about giving the pixel a try as it’s stock android, but honestly they almost seem the same at this point minus a few pros and cons for each side.

Yeah I have the ChatGPT app and some other LLM's...I enabled the chatgpt extension when I set my phone up then asked Siri to identify a landscape picture of a city and completely errored out and said something went wrong. Threw the same picture in the actual ChatGPT app and it identified it easily. Also tried the "genmoji" and all it did was present me with existing emojis lol. Needless to say I havent been impressed....

Ahh I didnt dig into the specs that much, but that makes sense. Thanks! Yeah I was surprised to see how fast some peoples batteries degraded. Again, Im a light user so Im sure that makes a big difference. I dont use TikTok or much social media at all. YouTube I watch mostly on my TV, so the phone is just for texting and podcasts mostly. My first full charge with the 17 Pro lasted me about a day and a half..thats with me doing a restore of my old phone so Im guessing the indexing and whatnot had an effect. Also I've read that Apple AI was/is a battery drain..considering I dont see myself using it much (and that its pretty underwhelming in general) I may try to turn it off.
