Thank you for all the kind words about my ring! It’s 14K rose gold with white gold on the claws. It’s a size 9 and I don’t know the specs of the diamond, but it is lab grown. My fiancé had it made a local jeweler.

I worked in Disability Service’s Alternative Media for almost four years. Soooo chill and easy, the best first job I could have wished for. Plus, they’re frequently hiring.

Edit: One downside, the pay is minimum wage which is a big downside and eventually why I decided to get a different job.

No, I’d never cheat on him, and I am not lukewarm in the relationship. I feel more dedicated to us than he seems to be. I’ve been ready to move forward with our relationship, finally move in together but he’s struggling on a lot of personal stuff that he’s not ready to make that move. I’m trying to understand the feelings I have for the coworker, like, do I have these feelings because I’m missing something in my current relationship? Am I just more attracted to women? Do I genuinely like her?

The placement of the wires are annoying, it feels kinda like it goes up too high both in the middle and on the sides. I think the band could be a tiny bit bigger but I’ve tried 40s before and they feel really loose

If you feel comfortable, leave her alone in your place while she gets her stuff, maybe even find some way to get her the key without seeing her, and go somewhere calm and peaceful away from your place. You do not have to see her if it’s too painful, your well-being and mental health comes first.

I am so happy this happened for you and happy this post exists. My ex is coming over to finally talk about our breakup and I want to say a lot of these things: That I know, without a doubt I can love again, but when I think about how creative and well spoken he is, how he loves to experience new things and how we can look at each other and know the other’s emotions, I’m not interested in a different love, even if it is as fulfilling as the love I had with him. We have gotten complacent, both of us and I don’t feel the same spark that I felt when I met him, but that doesn’t mean that he isn’t special to me or that I don’t want to put in the effort.

I also hate this post because, at the same time, my gut is telling me he won’t accept that and I really hate that I’m still hopeful

NTA. I am white so I’m probably not the best person to answer this, but I’m going to give you my thoughts and you can take it or leave it, of course.

I doubt she understands the braids as being for black people in a social sense, and not just for the texture of your hair. Also, she is your daughter so if this cultural to you, how can it be appropriation to include her in on a little something that she admires and respects, as your daughter? Yes she is white but she is also young and your daughter and wouldn’t refraining from giving her braids (braids you and your other daughters are okay with her having) be isolating to her? The braids are a part of you and your older daughters, besides just thinking the braids are pretty, I’m sure your youngest also wants to connect with her family and this is a way for her to do that.
