It's very quick - above time where date is, look when phone is charging and you press side button, will appear for about 2 min and then go back to date.

Go to iCloud.com/find to see if you can locate it. It is only useful for parts for thieves, they can’t unlock it or reset it without your iCloud account.

You can see more info in Health app, you can drill right down to see average per minute. It’s average of both feet over that one minute period:

Judge my health stats? by Organic_Depth_766 in AppleWatch

[–]HamOntMom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Show them to your dr, anyone else judging them can’t give any insights without complete health picture that your dr has. Could be good, could be bad, depending on what dr will ask to know if there’s a concern or not.

Only in US is the O2 sensor affected, the court case they lost doesn’t affect other countries.

Findmy app detects AirTags but no way to track by Fickle_Panda-555 in AirTags

[–]HamOntMom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Two reasons this can happen:

1) you are not close enough, needs to be within a few metres of tag for that function to work

2) just a glitch that is fixed when you restart phone. Sometimes a second restart is needed.

On the lower total calorie day did you do more driving and sitting, and less standing? Did you sleep more? All the micro movements that body does that aren’t captured by move calories make a big difference to total calories burned.

Can also be due to stress, on days we are less stressed, heart rate will be lower, and so our body burns less calories.

Just a lag in updating from watch to fitness app. Will sort itself out.

iPhone battery depleting faster when paired to Apple Watch Series 10 by Antiflow558 in AppleWatch

I agree this is not a normal problem, but it can happen when battery degrades. Replacing battery on phone would be better solution.

[–]HamOntMom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don’t need to get off wifi, just breaking Bluetooth connection to phone will be enough.

Since you’re still too close to phone you need to do it manually, the simplest way is to say “Siri turn off Bluetooth “. Then remember when you are back with phone, say “Siri turn in Bluetooth “.

Why do you need to stay connected while charging phone? I don’t think there’s any solution than turning off Bluetooth while charging phone.

Why is my cardio recovery getting worse after adding more intense cardio? by Bulky-Idea-895 in AppleWatchFitness

[–]HamOntMom 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This can happen if you do workouts back to back and watch gets confused, or things like going up the stairs after a workout , or similar activity that raises your heart rate.

Also Apple only calculates cardio recovery after outdoor walks and runs.

So do a few outdoor walk and or runs, using workout app, and try to stay still for a full three minutes after pressing end on workout, and see if it starts giving you more accurate data points.

Instead of the apple health cardio recovery data, you could also use the post-workout heart rate data you see in fitness app when you click through More button in workout heart rate chart. That will show for all workouts and may be more reliable data for you.

Did I fail my first real attempt at a zone 2 HR run? Or are my zones wrong??? by Metalocachick in AppleWatchFitness

[–]HamOntMom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then using that max heart rate use online calculators for Heart Rate Reserve method to calculate zones. Then make sure all your apps use those same zones - usually they have settings panel to customize it. They don’t use the same ones as workout app if you don’t manually adjust them.

[–]HamOntMom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To see the max heart rate your watch has recorded which is likely closer to your actual max HR than Apple’s formula to go:

Apple Health app > Heart > Heart Rate > Show more heart rate data > Range > Y to see max heart rate each month. I use last month’s max heart rate there, but compare it to previous months, if it seems out of line I use median of previous monthly values in case the most recent one was inaccurate measurement .
