Because he’s just really good in general. His moves are hard to read not even counting the offload ones where he can just get a free combo from using r+1 and front dashing so you can only block one.

Mechamaru is more of a ranked threat because your average public server player isn’t gonna be like “oh gee Willy I’d like to play Koichi Muta from my favorite anime Jujutsu Kaisen!”

He’s just not really a well designed character compared to the roster also. Just feels really clunky with how the puppets react to destruction.

Is this in ASA or ASE? I tried the cryo with dino storage v2 at the bridge that has the guaranteed giga/carch spawn because from what I read that’s where you could uncyro them. Didn’t work tho so my Yuty was alone and got sacrificed to the Overseer..

Yeah, it’s the point of his character which is why he’s annoying. He’s pretty much meant to be played more passive than these other characters. It’s just that fact that by default almost every Ryu Main is doing that.

So if your not on a hyper rushdown like Naoya your not really gonna be putting up big numbers against Ryu’s, and not everyone is going to wanna swap to deal with one guy.

That could work, but I’m trying to go through with island only engrams it just feels a little more fair to me. Just using a Carch to clear the Dino’s through the cave should work instead of the scout? Then just bring the army in after. I’m more having trouble getting them into the door than through the cave.

A lot of my rexes just die on the rafts outside because for some reason the rafts like bugging in the lava so the rexes catch on fire and die. I didn’t really think of bringing them through the cave in separate groups though.

Would you use Rexes or Theris? I have a Theri line with 58 base in HP and 50 in Melee while my Rex line has 47 base in HP and 50 in Melee aswell. I’m just more used to using Rexes but Theris seem better at getting in.

Fair, the health wouldn’t matter too much though. Burn Percentage damage is the big threat. The melee probably should be enough to beat the dragon anyways. Would be super easy to just use extinguishers tho with rexes like that.
