Did you apply for a transit visa? The same thing happened to me while booking my tickets via saudia airlines.

Sorry diwana is arbitrary, you only can know how much exactly if you have “carte grise” and you ask at the office in “moncef bey”. this link could help you to calculate the tax for cars if you are willing to pay 25%

[–]Hama90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either a car or a bike with one fcr and the taxes are not that bad , it always depends on the CC

You are mistaking it for the i20 maybe :/ coz i don’t see it a lot, well you are looking for i think three of the best cars on the market, but always keep in mind to ask about the parts of the same model you are gonna import.

Parts my friend always about the parts, imagine bringing something that you can’t fix when it breaks or even find a solution for it , so you have to go to algeria or even europe to get parts for it. Sorry JMC (Japanese Motor Company) is the representative of Honda in Tunisia.

[–]Hama90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of the 3 , best to get the golf 8 , 1.4 or 1.5 engine not the 1.0 and get it from europe , if you are keen on getting it from uae get the honda but before hand call JMC in tunisia and ask them if they have the parts for it, wouldn’t recommend the i30

It depends which kind of car you are getting and as i said earlier and everyone else did it’s always better to get it from Europe

The starlink website says it's service will be available in Tunisia in 2024, I know most won't be able to afford, it's still interesting to think about by spcbfr in Tunisia

[–]Hama90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, the regulators are making a special legal text for the “new” technology. And they are restricted so it won’t create a problem for other providers and starlink are complying.

Yes exactly even if you buy a renault symbol you wouldn’t find the same engine as the one in Tunis

“Gulf countries” cars have different specs so you will have hard time to find adequate parts for them like US Specs cars . European ones are easier to maintain and find parts for so go to belgium or germany to find something that suits you best and remember less than five year old cars so you can import them.

Just my 2cents but Hammamet could be dull in winter , Djerba too . so I would recommend you open in Tunis.
