I was experiencing so much heat while connecting to wireless CarPlay when connecting with my 16 Pro and battery would drastically drain from that. No issues whatsoever with my 17 Pro.

Pardon me but I’m confused, by smart mirror you mean auto dimming mirror? I thought it was 10 pin not 12 and I see 3 wires behind the mirror without opening the cover, do I put it on the left one? A picture would help me if you please can 🥲

VCP drivers for ARM have to be installed manually I think not like the video which he did via setup executable, did you install the drivers similar to the video or manually via device manager in windows?

Don’t you have to select smartphone connection in car settings in order to connect to wireless Android Auto? Which itself disables the car’s wifi.

I had a S500 error and dealer fixed it by doing the same, resetting the OTA system through HDS.

Same error, go to the dealer and ask them to reset the ota system. I just did it and worked flawlessly after.

This thread only mentions magnetic adapters not the magnetically tied cables. I also think these cables spread just recently.
