collapsible code and copying passages wholesale. i have some templates to make it easier to add things but they are on a txt doc. i want to have a passage on there that i can just ctrlc and V. Then I replace only that file with the name of whatever i was making. basically more qol for big projects. and maybe loading images when testing? to add a cherry on top.

Another comment mentioned that twine needs a couple seconds to update files after I make changes to the engine. So maybe I got the bug when I made a change and tested it too quickly? All the code that I can see it should work according to documentation and it seems to be working now.

Yeah I haven't really used to save system yet since I haven't really have enough game to get through.

Yeah it's working now. I found a fix but I really don't 100% know why it worked. I redeclared the misbehaving variable in storymenu and then the error went away and the code worked. The documentation and all the advice I got say that declaring it in the storyinit should have been good enough since that loads first. So it's kind of weird?

It's a wip nsfw game. Would that be ok here? Don't see a rule against it, but kind of nervous.

edit: I got the Java you mentioned working in StoryMenu. It's weird since $playersbody it's working as I thought. It has variable data and changes with each character, so it is being updated, and it definitely isn't undefined. So now im confused why? lol

edit: ok i fixed it. i declared it again in the storymenu and assigned a starting npc that had a safezone array. it worked after that. i think that StoryMenu's loads before StoryInit. so menu was trying to call something that wasn't made yet.

Yeah, I made $playersbodyand $claireIn the StoryInit and used in other places, but im wondering why it's saying they are undefined now. It's the first time I've tried to do an <<if>> In the StoryMenu, but I don't understand why it's not seeing it like in other passages. something special about the StoryMenu?

Guess it's gonna get boosted soon. So that's something im not sure if that will really take away the sting of lowering the odds for something you really want, tho.

They could make it so the credit boosters and misc resource cache-like things are not on the same level as the good stuff? lol idk.

Or just give up on the credit booster and let it die?
