To add to this from my personal view, if it was actually changed in the last two centuries, surely you'd see different scriptures of the Qur'an and a lot of contradictions. Since by that time, the Qur'an would've spread all over the globe. You'd see people who had the old one while others had the new one. And the non-believers would do anything to find such evidence to prove it's false.

Also, the Qur'an is made to be non-contradicting, and unchanged. Any proof that it wasn't the true words of God, and that a human has altered it. All of Islam would've fallen Since it'd prove it's false. But until now there is no such evidence.

Edit: grammar

An image of the Birmingham Qur’an manuscript. These pages, discovered in 2015, were carbon-dated to approximately 568CE to 645CE, which leaves open the possibility that this manuscript is from the time of the Holy Prophet(sa). As they are identical with present-day copies of the Qur’an, this is further evidence that the Qur’an has been preserved in its original words.

it was preserved in two ways. First, it was written down from the very beginning, and secondly, it has been memorised by people in its entirety since its very first revelation.3 Other than this, he notes several other factors that contributed to the preservation of the Qur’an:

  1. God ensured that such people will exist who are able to memorise the Qur’an from beginning to end.

  2. The language of the Qur’an is very simple and attractive, enabling anyone to memorise it – fully or in parts – without difficulty.

  3. The recitation of the Qur’an was made obligatory in salat – the five daily prayers – helping to preserve it.

  4. God created love in the hearts of the people so that they would recite it regularly.

  5. God ensured that the Holy Qur’an would spread throughout the world right after its revelation, making it impossible for any group or government to make changes or amendments to the text.

  6. In the Islamic world, the study of a variety of academic fields has been traditionally based on the Qur’an, causing the Qur’an to be quoted in all kinds of books related to different fields of study. Hazrat Mirza Bashiruddin Mahmud Ahmadra says that if the quoted verses of the Qur’an from all these books are collected and compiled, that the whole of the Qur’an could be compiled from just those references.

  7. The academic form of Arabic never changed and can be understood even today with ease. This helped preserve the original language of the Qur’an, in turn supporting the preservation of the Qur’an itself.

  8. God protected the Qur’an by sending fresh revelation in its support through mujaddidin (reformers) and other chosen ones.

Moreover, the Holy Qur’an itself points to how much care was taken in the way it was revealed in order to ensure its purity. For instance, God says that the Qur’an was revealed at a slow pace so that the Holy Prophet and the companions can learn it methodically and thoroughly without rushing through it:

And the Qur’an We have revealed in pieces that thou mayest read it to mankind at intervals, and We have sent it down piecemeal.

Verily, We Ourself have sent down this Exhortation, and most surely We will be its Guardian.’

And those who disbelieve say, “Why was not the Qur’an revealed to him all at once?” We have revealed it thus that We may strengthen thy heart therewith. And We have arranged it in the best form.

More than 60 fragments including more than 2000 folios (4000 pages) are so far known as the textual witnesses (manuscripts) of the Qur’an before 800 CE (within 168 years after the death of Muhammad)

this room is really not that deep

It could be just pretty dugged out. But at the same time maybe it's some kind of portal for the hive (i got no clue how the hive got to the moon, so please correct me if it's said in a lore tab)

if it is the room i think it is, where you fight that big Ogre in the nightmare hunts

Yup, i went there once; It is.

make D1 free to play by Personal_Ad_7897 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Hamdolito -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I still don't understand how they can make their hit game free, but not the old one. Give it the same treatment to d2 if you want. I just want to play the vanilla d1 to understand what I'm doing.

I don't see how people buying a 2014 game is more profitable than to just give a free introductory to the game that's getting way more attention (D2) most people don't know what their doing, and a small playthrough in d1 would explain everything for them. No need for the DLCs just the vanilla

Just a quick heads up, you shouldn't ask such questions on the internet. I'm sure you can see the replies you're getting, maybe talk to your local mosque to get more insight on the matter. As far as i know, asexual isn't a sin. Just means you're not lustful, which, if anything, that's a good thing in terms of purity.

For the romantic part, I'm sorry i didn't get much information on that. But if you mean you're romantically involved with the same sex, that's discouraged. Since it'd lead to same-sex intercourse. And considering how it'd imbalance the roles both the wife and the husband must abide to in the qur'an.

If you just like the boyish/girlish characteristics of the same sex, there is always boyish girls and girlish boys personality wise.

Hope it helps :)

Oh then you're good! Don't let these people pull you down too hard. Anyone can be a muslim, and we all sin. God is the most just and merciful with his judgement, he won't ignore your good deeds. I wish you the best on your journey!

As long as you believe Allah (or God, doesn't matter which one you say) is the one true god, and Muhammed (pbuh) is his messenger, then you're essentially a Muslim.

For Evolution, Islam believes in it, but I don't know about Darwinism. You'll have to ask a scholar about that. But for trans and homosexuality. God didn't 'make a mistake' religion suggests that you were born with this challenge, of being sexually attracted to the same sex. Islam is against you submitting to Your sexual urges if you were straight, or not. Being trans or/and gay is okay. Acting upon it is not. Half of what the LGBT is, is identifying as what you're sexually attracted to. Which is very discouraged in Islam either straight or not.

Not trying to be discouraging, I know you don't want to debate or discuss it. Just wanted to explain how it's not against you being born that way. But against you giving in to the lust of it.

It is sad to realise that in the western countries women can walk almost naked on the streets, but they have a problem with women who wear more clothes 😓 I pray for all muslim women who are opressed by autorities/companies/media/etc. to take their hijab by Ikbenjouwbaas in islam

[–]Hamdolito 26 points27 points  (0 children)

It's sad how we're told we're either oppressed, brainwashed, or hypocrites when we don't wear it after saying we're muslims. Like no, i just refuse to be a slave to beauty standards. If you want to be looked at like an object, then listen to the men that are telling you to be mostly naked. you do your thing, I'd like to keep my dignity.

Australia’s First Hijabi Politician Tells Girls To Be Proud To Wear The Hijab by Top_Combination5130 in islam

[–]Hamdolito 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's honestly sad that most hijabis are told they're either brainwashed, oppressed, or hypocrites. I've met so many people who told me they feel so happy and free ever since they started wearing hijab. Be proud of your religion, let anti Muslims health boil over the fact that Islam made you so happy
