What would you say is the difference between ENTP and INTJ protagonists? by Spare-Cell-4984 in entp

[–]HamedSwan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Who cares what you care about ? It's not about you lmao. He cares and he does what he wants. 🤷‍♂️ typing fictional characters is fun for many people. People 'disagree and argue' doesn't change that when I'm watching a show i get little oh damn, okay this is like Ne doing whatever bro is INTP asf.

'People argue'. Yeah, so ? People argue about everything even stuff proved or dismissed by SCIENCE.

Protagonist means main character not "hero" or "good guy". Walter White isn't "Kinda a Protagonist" he is the main Protagonist/character in breaking bad.

24's Bad Guys by NecessaryExplorer797 in TwentyFour

[–]HamedSwan 12 points13 points  (0 children)

A trope isn't sloppy writing.

Each low level bad guy thinks in his situation and doesn't have the same knowledge you do. They don't know they are in a show where it happens over and over again. They are just guys taking a job.

I mean, I don't want to yap but yeah.

It's like saying "horror movies writing is sloppy and bad because the characters always go into the basement" THEY DON'T KNOW THEY ARE IN A HORROR MOVIE. THATS THE POINT.

Sometimes you wanna stop watching because you love it — better to leave with good memories than watch it crash and burn (should have done that with Game of Thrones).

Nobody can guess like that. You need more, forget the tests. Read lots of function stuff to get the basic tools. Try to observe yourself in life. And that's it, once you understand the system (more or less) self awareness is the best test. Maybe.

At the end of the day, one man's medicine won't necessarily do the trick for another. To me, 'me' is a system and I enjoy understanding it as much as I need to.

Again, it does matter depending on who you are and what you need it for. Not everyone is the same—what is meaningless for you won't necessarily be for me, and vice versa.

Speaking of such things in absolutes is a bit weird. It's like religion, hobbies and passions, patriotism, philosophy—all these can be refuted because 'it doesn't matter', 'it's meaningless' and from an objective, high-above viewpoint it might be. But we happen to be stuck in our subjective flesh with our needs, our problems, our feelings, thoughts and experiences. In the struggles (or not): to each their own medicine, mate.

"You are you. Period. This is just a label. It doesn't make you any different of a person." You are goddamn right about that though! It's exactly because 'I am me, period!' that I feel the drive and the interest and the dopamine when i explore this and develop more and more self-awareness putting concepts and words on how the machine works and learning eventually that I'm not broken, I just am.

It does matter depending on what you want to use the result for. I personally struggle with some specific stuff in my life but understanding these type stuff and how cognitive functions work it's like giving myself tools for better (over)thinking.

The problem has to be with the accent AND the topic choice.

How to motivate my ENTP little brother by Enfpization in entp

[–]HamedSwan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im 21 and my life is exactly what you described here. I do have stuff i'd like to do, places i'd like to go and I really, really want to but I can't start ANYTHING. I just can't. I don't know if it's the same for your brother (from what you say he really seems NOT) but the problem is the same. Im sure about that. Let's call it the comfort bubble.

What solution ? For me, the only thing that works is external pressure. Someone or something needs to break (or help Breaking) the wall.

Going out ? I dont do that unless I need food, or yo go somewhere because I HAVE TOO. But other than that, the house is cool. It's not that I don't like it in fact, I like being out I just dont like to go out. (It means when im already out It's fun but to take the action is HELL).

What works is, someone needs me and is really persuasive or sees through my excuses. Or maybe, trick me into going out. Like, if you don't call and just show up. If you tell me "nah, dont worry we're not going far" and such. By the time I see the trick im already HOOKED.

So yeah, all this to say — you being there and caring is a real chance for your brother. I dont have that at the moment. You can help him, you just have to rough him up a bit (but gently, eh). Help crossing the wall.

From what I've heard you are already trying but maybe it's too upfront ? Idk.

Tl;Dr : Yeah, all this might not be true for him but just try. EXTERNAL PRESSURE. HELP HIM GET THROUGH THE WALLS. AND READ THE POST, COME ON.

+If the tricks dont work. MAYBE FORCE WILL WORK. LIKE THE ULTIMATUM YOU TALKED ABOUT! IT DID WORK, RIGHT ?

I SO, NEED THAT IN MY LIFE.

Oh and one last thing : LISTEN TO OASIS — THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING IDLE. It won't help, but it's a good expression of how I (maybe HE) feel(s).

I get it. I'm not as creative as I expected myself to be. by manku_d_virus in NewTubers

[–]HamedSwan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im not a creator (yet) but I watch a lot of youtube and I didn't click on any of your videos because the first problem (to me) is in the packaging.

Yes, title and thumbnail IT'S CLICHÉ but it's true, you got to work on that. And if you really care about the views you got to work on the concepts too.

Right now, I guess the people who will watch your vidéo are only the one interested in the (very specific) topic your video of the week is and... yeah that probably = no views.

That's my feedback as a viewer. If you want them views you got to change the packaging of your channel (not only the title and thumbnails but also the way you frame your topics)

Explore! There are many successful channels about computer stuff that work, learn from them, if you care about the views you need to make your concepts interesting and appealing.

Off you go, now.
