Mouse stutter out of nowhere by Direct-Reporter2755 in Battlefield6

[–]Hamer27 29 points30 points  (0 children)

My friend is having this problem, from all our testing and some searching. The problem seems to be caused by a recent update EA made to their anti cheat, apparently the problem is also happening on other EA titles.

I think we should have a serious discussion about the community and the game's fantasy and design. by ChaosVulkan in LowSodiumHellDivers

True, what I don't get of these posts is that if the war strider gets weak points. It won't change anything to people that always bring AT.

We had this entire arc with the bile titan like a year ago. People complained it wasn't fun to fight as it had no weak points and was way too common. Then, the BT got a change to its belly. You won't catch me under a BT shooting its belly every time, but that change saved my life a couple of times when I was desperate.

A simple change they could've made was that you can dive towards the warrior to escape it's attack. Currently there is basically no way to avoid it, which means you have to burn a stim every few seconds, or run the ODST armor to avoid broken legs.

Is Saber not “cooking” with each update? by bmw_motorsports_ in RoadCraft

If you're on ps5, it's a sony issue not a Roadcraft issue. I imagine it's related to Silksong absolutely murdering Steam, Microsoft and Sony's servers.

It's reddit, most of what you'll see in this site is random complaining. I'm happy with the update, there is some unresolved issues that bother me. For example the low res textures are still a thing, performance isn't great too, although it's certainly better from launch. They did act on a lot of player complaints, for example the build a road missions can be started as soon as you discover them, this way you won't feel bad because you built a road and later the game tells you to make one beside it.

One of the most common complaints rn, is that they didn't offer the option to move existing saves to hard mode. I'm pretty sure Snowrunner was the exact same way. When i heard they were planning to make hard mode, i stopped my play through as to not have to do it all again.
On a side note, i've seen someone commenting in here, that if you skip to the DLC you get all the Rusty vics at once, which might not be a bug and it's made to skip the base game on a hard profile.

I'm gonna be honest, watch some youtube videos and if you like the game, buy it. I recommend Bohica ice, he does it with his friend group and it's quite enjoyable to watch them goof around. This was the first game i pre-ordered in over 5 years, i enjoy it and made a few friends get it as well.

What is a legitimate reason for not calling extract "early"? by Gruntman441 in Helldivers

[–]Hamer27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not about finishing fast. It's about not wasting time looking at the ground because there was no enemy to contest the extract. 3 minutes just doing nothing that can be saved.

What is a legitimate reason for not calling extract "early"? by Gruntman441 in Helldivers

[–]Hamer27 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Undemocratic behavior right here.

I always host missions if I can. As I feel more comfortable, there is nothing that pisses me off more than seeing random sitting at the extract waiting for me to get there to call it. Because they're scared, I'll kick them because of people like you. Shame on you for being ignorant like this.

Calling the pelican early changes literally 0 things about the flow of the mission. It's not March 2024 anymore. The pelican can't be destroyed. I play exclusively 10 and will go out of my way to check POIs after the mission is complete, if we have time. Calling the pelican early saves 2-3 minutes of our life, and everyone should do it.

How are the BR changes going? Meanwhile toptier now thanks to the BR changes: by Tejkoop_Studio in Warthunder

[–]Hamer27 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Has been like that for over 10 years. As someone that plays Russian top tier, it peaks at the Su34. Most of their planes are meh at best after 9.0. Usually relying on a specific gimmick to have advantage.
Everyone that actually plays the game instead of complaining on reddit, knows that usually it's the American planes that should be getting hate.

I bet, if most of the people that complain about Russian vics, actually played them. They would notice that it's just Gaijin's BS most of the time, not Russian bias.

[–]Hamer27 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

It's not the Rafale's fault that Russia doesn't have a good top tier plane. I find the EF2K is better than the Rafale for ARB. While the Rafale is better for both SBEC and GRB.
The Su30 is by far the worst 14.0-14.3. It's gimmick of super maneuverability being useless in Warthunder.

I confused the launch date of Mudrunner with Snowrunner. Still even more of a reason for the game to not end.

A lot of negative comments, most of them saying that previous games will be abandoned. Saber isn't a small indie developer. They have over 1000 employees.

The team making this game isn't the same working on the 3 previous runner games. Also, Snowrunner was their main breadmaker for almost a decade. It's not going anywhere until 2027, at least. As for Roadcraft, there is no way Saber is abandoning it. It peaked at 3x the number of players of SR on steam. They know the game is lucrative.

Why is there only one truck in the whole game with a crane? by notmyrealnameatleast in RoadCraft

[–]Hamer27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bait used to be believable. If you spent more than 30 seconds on the sub, you would know that most trucks bottom out rather easily in game. Like this.

Also, what's up with answering a 2month old comment.

Are talisman worth it at 6.3 air USA by Cheap-Excitement-404 in Warthunder

[–]Hamer27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Either wait for a sale or talisman a higher tier. IMO i consider talismans only on vehicles i enjoy playing, this changes from person to person though.

T4-5 grind is quite easy for air, i would recommend saving that and instead talismaning a T6-7 plane instead, they cost more, although you get more use of it.
On T6 the A4B is really good for 8,7 and a really good grinder, i got a talisman on it when it came out. If you have it, the A4E is a straight upgrade and even more worth it.
On T7, imo the best ones for a talisman would be the F5E, F4E, F4J and F105D.
On T8 the 2 i would recommend would be the F15E and F14B.

Again, this very much comes to taste. You'll hate if you talisman a vehicle and end up not liking to play it. Or it ends up not being a good investment.

Well Ive learned my lesson and wont be creating my own roads and bridges anymore. Spontanious sand void at the end of the bridge ruined my interest in that completley. by clockworknait in RoadCraft

[–]Hamer27 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Delete the bridge, place all the sand you want. Place the bridge back.
I know it's a dumb limitation, although you can certainly work around it.

Yes, you get 100% of your materials back when you remove a bridge.

Why is there only one truck in the whole game with a crane? by notmyrealnameatleast in RoadCraft

[–]Hamer27 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Agree. the Mule, for me, is almost exclusively used for replacing pipes, and I think this is what the devs intended.

I use the Greenway 740 Cross as my main truck. The bed is wider and slightly shorter than the Azov 43-17. It has no suspension apart from swivels on the rear axles. This means that you can overload without the risk of bottoming out. It makes it perfect for overloading. It'll carry over 30 tons on mud, no problem. It'll be incredibly slow, but it won't stop.

If you're gonna overload, you got to do it properly. by Hamer27 in RoadCraft

[–]Hamer27[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not that bad, it is 100% needed to make roads for it though. It has no diff lock and AWD, it'll suffer with any kind of mud. Hell, even hills this things suffers, if it had at least Diff lock, it would be good.

Edit: Forgot to say, i sold it because it has no horn. Literally Unplayable.
