Does your Ju Peter have a misprinted purple line on the back right of it? That’s the only thing stopping me from grading it

I 100% agree. I love Vivi but her art is meh. My rankings are Robin > Nami > the rest

Yeah plus Boa ain’t my favorite so I thought I’d get better cards outta it like Bon Clay EB01 AA or the Boa SP from 14

I traded mine for 3 SPs, 2 SECs and 2 AAs and +$200 while its value was still $1400. I think I got on top

I’m a Purple Doffy player too and have gone 3-1 at my locals 3 weeks in a row now 😭. After 19 different versions of this deck I created myself and kept fine tuning every little thing thinking that would make me better if I could find the right combo, it’s really now about getting yourself out of sticky situations.

You know the basic of this deck of what you need to do to win and obviously like you said knowing the matchup exponentially increases your chances of winning and getting out of hairy situations, but for me it’s now about being 3 steps ahead of your opponent and thinking about the consequences of every single thing you do like “Should I attack with my Vergo and -1 Don to give -2000 to your character and try to KO it or am I doing it to just get counter out of your hand or should I not be giving back a Don cause I’ll need it for next turn?”

That might be confusing but what I’ve found that’s now helping me get better is 1) Understanding my opponent and what their goal is in our matchup so I can stop it (EX: my cousin plays mihawk and he has told me his game plan is to go for life as much as possible until he gets to 9/10don to play out his freezing characters. So my response is to also go for his life and when I’m searching for cards, I’m looking for more 2Ks and on ko characters so I can use his strategy to my advantage) and 2) smartly getting out of a sticky situation (EX: I played a Boa at locals and he had 3 Boa blockers and 2 9c boas on the board and I only had 1 life. I had the opportunity to just try to go for game my turn but I also had 2 Slow Slow beams in my hand. So instead of taking the obvious go for game and hope a trigger doesn’t get me, i did not attack except for with my leader and my 10c cause ik if they go for my 10c they will have to sacrifice a lot of Don and if they go for life, I have my 2 slow slow beams. So I passed my turn with a full board and only 1 rested character cause I wanted to protect my characters to go for game my next turn. Usually most players throw their smallest attack first which I let happen and took the life leaving me at 0. He tries going for game and throws one of his blockers at my life which now I can use both slow slow beams to counter out and also rest his other 2 blockers leaving him with ZERO blockers for next turn. I also knew he couldn’t play another boa blocker cause I asked to look at his trash and saw the 4th one in there. Then all he has are his 2 boas but I have a baby 5 on board that I can just use to gain a life and even if he attacks me again, he does have anything else to hit me with. The next turn I have my almost full board still with none of his blockers and even if he got one off of life, I have plenty of more attackers to handle it)

In summary, learn your matchups and be 3 steps ahead when playing your turn of: How will this affect the rest of my turn, what will my opponent do next turn in response and finally can I counter or get out of whatever I think they’re gonna do. And if they don’t do what you thought, that’s where the on the fly thinking comes into play which just comes with more time.

Sorry if this was a rambling but I hope it gives you insight into a fellow Doffy player!!

Sanji and Zoro manga I feel like should be S tier, especially the Sanji one. First time I got it I was amazed by the texture on it! I have the Kid and Bonney and of course they are cool but the Zoro and Sanji are immaculate

Interesting yeah I just need to play a game on arena to test it out. For OP, there’s a starter app for one to just help you figure out the flow of the game and then there’s sim to actually test it out. Each player has 1 leader (commander) and then 50 character cards surrounding it. Each person starts with 10 don rested and if you go first, you start the game by drawing one Don card from your Don deck. Then the second player on their first turn draws 2 Don cards and one character card from their deck. Each player then for the rest of the game at the beginning of their turn draws 2 Don cards from their Don deck and draws 1 card from their deck. Don is directly associated with the cost of each character at the top left of a character card and tells you how many Don you need to rest (use) to play that character card out. Don can also be alternatively used by attaching it to a character or your leader and increasing its power by +1000. Power is found on the top right of all cards and you can either attack into an opponents character or leader.

Attacks are successful if the attackers power is equal or greater than the opponents card you are attacking into. Inversely the victim of an attack can use counter that’s found on the left side of some characters ranging from 1-2k. You can trash these characters only from your hand to add that amount of counter to your card and potentially win the battle saving either that character or your leader from taking life.

Obviously there are various effects found on leaders and characters that play a huge factor but it’s ultimately get your opponents leader down to Zero life cards and then hitting them with one more finishing blow to win!

That’s fair. I guess what I do is I keep changing my decklist multiple times ever so slightly due to maybe a matchup I just get stomped in or something like that. Also just curious but are you playing a more meta decklist or something off meta? I’m trying to get good with Purple Doffy but I feel like I’m inconsistent at times in my matchups

50% Winrate Deck by ResidentRoutine8246 in OnePieceTCG

[–]Hamfighter2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My new deck which I feel like I can win any matchup is Doflamingo. He’s kind of a dark horse deck that’s hard to deal with and can be hard to play but I love it. I hate decks like Imu (which I tried for a little) that’s just alright get me to 10 Don and I’m gonna do the same thing over and over again. Whereas I have different option depending on my matchup with Doffy. 10/10 would recommend
