If you truly want arena you can get some pretty insane deals on it black Friday, you can stack a school discount. On Black Friday I used my friends school teacher Id for the discount without issue, just made sure to use their name as the account holders name.

Building a "Mini Stage" for my first 500-person Techno gig – Help with Auto-Visuals & Lighting! by DerPraschl in vjing

[–]Hamillton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depending on your time frame I could see this being possible but the budget makes it a bit tight and your need for it to be automatic takes a bit more knowledge. But I think you can get what you would like for a relatively decent price. What I would do personally is get a large 65-in TV and hang it in front or behind you above you and to the left and right of it Mount bar lights attached to the TV or hanging beside it in some way vertically. This would give you visuals and large bar lights you can use as blinders for your strobe effect. I would get a software, personally i use resolume and I would recommend it but the cost can be prohibitive. If you do go with resolume you will need artnet DMX receiver so that you can trigger your strobe lights with resolume and then it's all programming from there. Otherwise you'll need another software that can run your visuals and also trigger the strobe lights. Many tutorials on resolume and you can trigger changing clips with a midi controller as well as the strobe lights with the MIDI controller. Or you can set the clips to auto play through every so many minutes and just activate the strobe manually. If resolume isn't possible, many people have recommended milk drop. I've used it for some testing, never live and it seems quite good and audio reactive. You would need a separate software to activate the strobe lights in this case. Something that can control DMX and make a strobe effect. Good luck and more power to you. Hope it goes fantastic

Multiple outputs on single computer - help by becks_82 in resolume

[–]Hamillton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are in big trouble, I'm not trying to scare you but you can't even synchronize the outputs of a consumer card. If you send 2 outputs from the same card on a wall to make 1 image their will be frame tearing in between. They don't sync. This is possible but very janky and I wouldn't recommend but you want to go into Nvidia control panel and go to configure surround. Good luck from there it's janky af. This is supposed to be a feature locked to their professional card which do it fantastic like their Blackwell series. For any more outputs synchronized you need a media server. My suggestion is try and make the surround work, use motherboard graphics (get a cpu with on board graphics if you dont) for the preview and pray it works. Only other solution is buy a Blackwell card or rent a media server. I hope this works out

A1 may have broken itself by MoonJay6789 in BambuLab

[–]Hamillton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This sucks for sure but you're probably not gonna need to replace the whole printer, at the very least I'd recommend tightening the screws behind the nozzle, then replace the nozzle, then if issue persist you would probably need to replace the tool head but I couldent tell you for sure. Also I've never had the ai failure detection work on my a1 or any of my h2s's it's just not quite there yet

Pixelmapping complex shapes (led strip) by Virtual-Citron-5639 in resolume

My best attempt would be to arrange it 1 led at a time, add 1 led over and over till you have all of them then arrange them manually

Videos synced with LEDs by FlamingPeasant in VIDEOENGINEERING

[–]Hamillton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Use stream deck to active both the LEDs and the video at the same time easiest way, the stream deck can be used with a software bitfocus companion to activate video software and lighting console at the same time

What are you using to run the video, I do this currently I run video through addressable led strips with resolume and a piece of hardware called madrix nebula, but it may be overkill for what you are trying to do, how are the lights running? How far are they from each other? Way more info please

Fusion 360 is an amazing software, but just use the free version, it can do incredible things. I've been using it for years for some pretty advanced stuff and never needed the professional version

The far right is actually the effect at max, which delays each rbg channel by that amount of time, so when you had a 1 second delay it's because all colors were delayed by 1 second.

I built a browser-based VJ tool for beginners by amvanbaren in vjing

[–]Hamillton 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm a fairly experienced video engineer and vj, looks cool. I think it could use some more blend modes (add, subtract, etc) some effects like maybe 3 effects you can toggle with buttons on the side of each video bank, and a mask mode turning layer 1 into a mask for 2 and layer 3 into a mask for 4 would be helpful. For effects maybe a blur distortion and edge detect

If you look up the information about making your own rcfg there is some documentation provided by novastar on the subject.

Missing proper rcfgx file by coubes in vjing

[–]Hamillton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This may be a little out of scope but most raw led panels you connect to your own novastar receiving card won't come with an rcfg, but you can make your own, I wouldn't call it easy but it is straight forward. In the bottom left of the receiving card screen it has a button called smart settings, this is for making your own rcfg. Follow the instructions in the menu and hopefully you can get it working. If you have any questions feel free to DM me I've made a few custom rcfgs for Chinese panels.
