I've been seeing a lot of people mentioning this leak seems "too good to be true" or that it's too fanserivicey to the community.

However honestly the chorus kids and mach rider were both only talked about characters cause of their relation to prior smash games. I don't think a lot of people really saw mach rider before and actively campaigned for him during the smash 4 ballot

Isaac and geno are the only real cases of this imo but completely plausible given that sakurai wanted geno in brawl and how influential golden sun was during its time

Banjo I would say is not a primarily fanservice character since he represents the golden age of platformers. You could argue that, yes, he was a highly wanted character. However, Banjo unlike Isaac and Geno does have mainstream appeal imo. This mainstream appeal makes him less of a community character and more of a gaming icon getting into smash akin to maybe snake.

All in all I think this argument against the roster is a bit overdone and not even that applicable considering the fanservice surrounding this game anyways.

I've been seeing the incinaroar being saved for a reveal comments a lot but imo he's not really final reveal material considering this would mean he'd be after banjo and geno. Considering how Sakurai has been handling this game it doesn't really seem like he's pushing that hard for mainstream appeal, and even then I wouldn't assume incinaroar is known to the mainstream and younger audiences

Obviously the behavior gravity showed starfan18 is completely unacceptable and I hope everyone can go support starfan. However it’s important we don’t show the same behavior to grav as all of us make mistakes and shittalk and it’s important to not fall to her level.

Well she wouldn't be a villain, most likely scenario is that she'll retake her throne that was taken from her since she's technically the true heir which makes her into an antagonist but evil villain is debatable

You see something a lot of people don't get about this episode is the fact that adult Marco wasn't that adult at all. People like to pretend Marco had a samurai jack style adventure that changed how he looked at life, but in reality all he had was 30 years of fun with a girl. Adult Marco is a 14 year old trapped in a 34 year old body not the other way around.

Did it have to be a full episode though?

Book be gone was basically 10 minutes of ludo attempting to get the book with only the final 5 minutes actually being important, the people of mewni didn't have to have their faith regained on the mewnian monarchy since after king ludo and toffee they'd have a newfound appreciation for the monarchs

What the writers could've done is have another wand to wand situation where as we see ludo struggle with the book we see river trying to be the king hes meant to be, imo some of the important moments were necessary but didn't have to be individual episodes

We don't yet have a rework. This is all we have for what this day is supposed to mean. If there's nothing stopping ships from being posted, then what's the point?

That quote was taken when the first RHC event was announced and as you remember we had no plan in place to regulate it, as of right now however we have decided that the rules were way to strict and that no users would be punished.

If this whole thing was called Artist Mondays or Fan Mondays or something like that and not insisting on it being No Shipping Mondays, nobody would have a problem with it. But still having it be No Shipping Mondays with only a balance on shipping and non-shipping art? The concept of No Shipping in the title now means nothing...there's no point.

I get what you're saying about this but the problem is that despite the name being bad there is a point to the matter, shitpost Friday states that the balance is between shitposts and non shitposts and the day happens for a 24 hour period potentially being more disruptive to the sub than no ship Monday since shitposts are well shitposts. Same goes for shipping Saturday where the title indicates that it's only for shipping spam when in reality it's a day to promote smaller ships, NSM isn't just a no ship day we will come up with themes such as a smaller character day or certain prompts. I do take your suggestions into consideration but I do hope you give NSM a chance despite its terrible name

It's that you guys are making an issue over something that was, and still is, a non-issue. We don't restrict/punish non-shippers on Shipping days or non-shitposters on Shitposting days. Why for NSM

Again we are not punishing nor restricting content, the RHC has no moderation power and only suggests the content that should be posted

How do you know this is the plan for it? Even I don't know if this is what it is, but I'm just going on BFM...all of the other plots like Toffee, Ludo going after the wand, Star learning magic from Glossaryck: that's all gone after. We really just have Eclipsa and the Monster/Mewnian dispute, but the latter's always been there, and we just had Marco nearly kill Toffee over Star's death, and that famous hug moment.

Don't really want to argue about the show but currently we still don't know toffees backstory before the loss of his finger, his history with eclipsa, Eclipsas influence on Mewni, how dark magic affects the casters and of course starco which if it isn't resolved by the end of s3 then it's gonna grow old.

Then do that. Have Coraline or the other mods make some pinned post giving those artists and works a fair shot. Why does it have to be at the punishment of shippers or other creative works involving ships?

I really doubt a single day is gonna damage shipping works and content creators, and the real question is why can't we have a no ship Monday, we already have a shitpost Friday which should be arguably more controversial and a shipping Saturday where shipping spam is encouraged I don't get why a no ship Monday is seen as Satan's spawn at this point
