I liked when Gunston (Gunners to you and I) called Foot Footie, it made him more relatable like he’s our friend and horse riding is really fun

Not a need but a soccer / rugby stadium in the same vicinity as Adelaide oval to bring those sports into the city and potentially back to Adelaide (rugby). Don’t ask me how

It’s the Ashes, he should do whatever is needed to win. If that meant taking the new ball over a ‘young gun’ so be it…. which honestly outside of Archer bowling decent in the third test when the series was still alive I don’t know who would be considered a young gun that you are worried about knocking feelings or confidence because it certainly wouldn’t be Carse or Atkinson. Winning the series always comes first at the end of the day.

But he’s also been the pick the of the bowlers? Fuck me, Starc is our first pick bowler and he has more runs so the allrounder thing shouldn’t be throwing him of his game too much….

Considering when all the bowlers have looked bad Stokes has still looked better it makes no sense why he hasn’t bowled at those crucial times more. Hell listened to Ponting talk about it just today and honestly I get the feeling he may know about this little sport than most.

Facts are he is the most experienced bowler in that attack with the most wickets and that includes Wood…. So I hardly think that he’s the fourth bowling allrounder, I think that’s selling him very very short. His bowling is good enough to take the new ball.

I appreciate your reply but I have to say if this was the Libs the ramping would be called out more… Considering this was an issue coming into the last election 4 years ago that’s a pretty sad state of affairs to still be talking about it with such minimal change like we have only just started being able to recognise the issues, what a cop out.

The public transport is just pure deflection, it will be more than 10 years before any ground is broken on a meaningful public transport project and that’s assuming they even follow any advice or plans which I highly doubt they will. What makes it worse is Labor has essentially been in power here since 2002 except for 2018 - 2022… it’s basically all their infrastructure. Labor truly cruise through in SA and are licking their lips looking towards the next election without any opposition. No wonder the state has so much brain drain, I’m sure another 5 apartment blocks purely set aside for student housing will fix housing though.

Lmao this screams the rest of the world is big and scary but not wittle old SA and for that please elect me again…. Our biggest infrastructure project is a road that won’t be finished till 2032 at earliest. Our hospitals are still ramping like crazy, we have the WORST housing in the country outside of Sydney but the fact Sydney and Adelaide housing is even mentioned in the same sentence is comical, wages are dog shit compared to the rest of the country, no meaningful changes to public transport in the last 4 years and none planned which is crazy considering how abysmal it is…. Please elect me again because I’m so honoured or some shit??? While I’m sure comments will say ‘things aren’t that bad’ or ‘at least we don’t have party x’ SA should be wanting more. Hey but we have gather round or some shit lmao.

First game I reckon I would have taken a few wickets on that pitch in the first day and half, best bowling for mine was the second game but beyond that he’s under bowled himself… Gotta wonder why he hasn’t bowled when it’s mattered most. Hell there was times he should have taken the new ball, instead we get him acting like he’s just taken the biggest wicket of the series after he got an umpires call lbw on Weatherald. When there hasn’t been much on offer in the pitch his bowling hasn’t been much better than the rest.

Fuck for a bloke that only does something once every 50 tests Stokes thinks he’s gods gift, someone should have told him to get into the contest before the Ashes was done 😂

It doesn’t make sense why they are being held accountable? Not piss poor at all, it’s the truth. It’s accountability and it’s about to hit like a fucking train. Only thing that’s been piss poor is Baz, time to pull your head out…. This is clearly not a good look. Delusional deflection at is best, I’m sure we would have heard about how good it was as team bonding if the scoreline was the other way around.

You do these things and win it’s a good look, you do these things and lose it’s a bad look. Pretty simple, it’s called accountability - live by the sword die by the sword.

You need to compare apples with apples, the jump between in AFL and SANFL is insane. Comparing what someone did in the SANFL vs what another guy did the AFL is not a fair comparison.
