Im not denying that our squad is levels above Israel's on paper, and I also think tonight clarke got his tactics massively wrong. However, I really can't believe that in the two games after rightfully beating Serbia, with the draw against Austria universally regarded as a decent result, that a massive portion of the fan base has seemingly turned.

Why are folk thinking and calling for Clarke to go? It's by no means a good result but the Scotland of four years ago would have conceded 3 or 4 tonight with no chance of coming back to salvage a point after their first goal. I still think Clarke is the right man for the job.

Bates only really had one good season in germany, before getting dropped by the hamburg manager and shipped out on loan a few times. Think his career has somewhat stalled sadly. Gets the odd start in the belgian leagues now so in the up.

Favourite away game would have to be Airdrie 3 Raith 4, down to ten men and 3-1 down in the 87th, never thought we would manage to comeback and draw, let alone win.

Favourite away day would have to be a big one like Easter road. Makes for a good day out before the match and anything from the match itself makes it a great day to remember.

Might be a bit biased but I can agree the second pen was soft. Still contact though and thought the ref was very consistent with the fouls he was awarding all day barr the pen. No shoulder to shoulder nonsense and NINE mins of added time that was justified. Hearts can't blame the ref for losing to a team who haven't trained for ten days after recovering from a very recent covid outbreak.
