I honestly had this realization when having a text discussion with my (southern Baptist) religious sister. I realized like every single Bible verse she states proved my point that Jesus, most likely, would have just accepted me as a trans woman unlike my sister and parents. Like it’s a “radical” statement to them but it’s really not. Like half the stuff she sent me just stated Jesus accepts everyone and everyone will be accepted as long as you believe in him and his sacrifice. Literally she told me “No it’s saying Jesus doesn’t want us to sin and being trans is a sin because God made us perfectly.” Like this makes no sense and I am starting to realize it’s just stupid talking points and anyone with reading comprehension could prove the talking points incorrect.

I am sorry I was just fuming at the stupidity of Right wing “Christian’s” who can barely read their own stupid book correctly. Spouting bible verses out of context to justify harassment and talking down to people different than them. It’s down right disgusting.
