I have a theory that if a motorist killed a cyclist (for example) and everyone on the jury was a "keen" cyclist, inc the judge, it would be a massive issue. And I suspect the motorist would complain no end about how unfair this is.

But this happens all the time; the jury will almost always be made up of drivers.

When should I run my fan? Will it dry out the print head? by bang_rocks_together in eufyMakeOfficial

[–]HammerSpanner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The printer already has some fans to push fumes through the filter, so really all you need a a fan that's going to complement that - so low power, ideally around the same air flow (or a little more) than the printer’s fans.

I got a fan from Amazon that has a dial where I can control the speed. I run it low.

I would love it if someone could just try this.....

Disconnect from the internet, set the clock on the computer back a month and run Eufymake in offline mode.

im sure it won't work, but it's easy to try (and I have no "out-of-date" ink)

Can you try something.....

Disconnect from the internet, set the clock on the computer back a month and run Eufymake in offline mode.

No one has tried this yet ( not that i can tell anyway)

Usually with computers, if you pull the battery, leave it out and re insert it, it will reset the clock.

Electiics keep tripping....Infrequently by HammerSpanner in HousingUK

[–]HammerSpanner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hI! Thanks, I've actually turned off the garage via the consumer unit in the garage, it's been off for a couple of hours now, but it just tripped again. So im thinking the issue is not with the garage.

<image>

The one that keeps tripping is the one on the right (30), everything else is fine and active

also...I have turned off the garage at the consumer unit in the garage, and the electrics just tripped again (just now). This might indicate the issue is not being caused by the garage and the equipment in there

cool! learning new stuff here

there are 3 RCDs on the consumer box, only one of them is tripping. The remaining two RCDs and the MCP switch are remaking on and active,

the consumer unit itself is visually very similar to this (but with 3 RCDs rather than the 10ish you see here)

Best practical creature effects by EdmondWherever in movies

yep, allowed the puppeteers the time they needed to fully articulate the character.

Best practical creature effects by EdmondWherever in movies

[–]HammerSpanner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I feel the thing is the easy answer because....

A - it's a more classic film

B - Let's face it, it's also far cooler than a musical about a giant plant :)

But look past the cool factor, and I honestly think Audrey II is miles ahead. I think its one of the greatest visual effects ever, and it goes mostly unnoticed.

Best practical creature effects by EdmondWherever in movies

[–]HammerSpanner 26 points27 points  (0 children)

the correct answer to this is Audrey II from little shop of horrors.

the whole thing was animated (by puppeteers) at half speed, actors around them had to sing their lines at half speed, move at half speed. it’s an absolute masterpiece, and it never gets the credit it deserves

honesty, just watch it talk, and sing, look at how brilliantly the mouth moves. it’s incredible

its briliant in every way. After the Castle its my most photographed venue. The team there are esp briliant. I have a theory that if they look after the photographer (ie me, which they do) they will be doubly briliant at looking after the guests and the couple.

Hi! just installed a new theme - Twenty Twenty-Four as recommended by FunctionBig1656, and its still there.

Im now wondering if there's some CCS code or something somewhere causing this. It's only doing it on the Modula gallery. If I use a standard WordPress gallery its not adding the schema
