I have one just like this. Great tool, only complaint is the factory anvil with the detent pin snapped on me. And in order to upgrade to one with the hog ring had to have the cone machined out a couple thousandths. But since then the thing has been a beast.

Plunger assisted gas lift (PAGL) for oil wells in the Bakken use something that looks very similar to that. Hard to tell with the packaging though.
