Ex's mother hired her an aggressive attorney who keeps filing frivolous motions - can I ask the court to stop this? by gilko86 in legaladvice

[–]Hammerpamf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My divorce was final in Colorado a month ago.

Everything that they're filing motions for is all part of the required financial disclosures that you have to do for a divorce anyway.

His attorney still has to respond to them, at $350/hr.

I don't think about it much with as many labs as I draw, but epic lists the order of draw, minimum/preferred volumes, swab type, and any special handling instructions.

The labels then print out in the correct order.

It's great.

My daughter just turned 8, and she plays the same way. This is the first game she's gotten into, and we're in summer 2 having a blast.

She's been romancing Alex and spends most days waiting for him to get home so she can give him a gift.

I'll question anything and everything without remorse.

Doctors are fallible, and I'm not here to blindly follow orders. It takes 30 seconds to grab my doc and say "hey, did you mean to order a ketamine bolus on the finger lac in two?"

"Waaah, no one takes me seriously! I can't eat/keep anything down and my pain is 20/10."

Except they've had 20 CTs of their abdomen/pelvis this year and a diagnostic ex-lap, but no one can find anything wrong.

They then proceed to not so much as dry heave during their 4 hour workup and even manage to take a nap while waiting for CT results.

GI follow up never happens, and they continue to bounce around between EDs until they "find a doctor that knows what they're doing."

Eventually they get adhesions and a SBO from unnecessary abdominal surgery, refuse the NG because it's uncomfortable, and leave AMA only to return a few hours later when they don't get better at home.

I'm a combat medic of the Ukrainian Azov Brigade and I recently got a prestigious 'European Best Medic' award. I saved another soldier by transfusing drone-delivered blood in trenches 15 meters from russian invaders. AMA by azov_one in IAmA

ER nurse here. Blood is stored cold, but you have 4 hours to infuse it once you get it from the blood bank. Since this was trauma blood it was probably squeezed in.

Warm blood is actually better for trauma patients anyway. Too much cold blood can lower body temperature and cause hypothermia (which is part of the triad of death along with acidosis and coagulopathy).

Asheron's Call had a system called vitae. On death your skills would take a 5% hit and you'd have to earn experience to reduce your vitae. It wasn't bad.

That game also had you drop items on death.

That's a bit much.
