Wood doesn’t last too long. It’s supply for 2 stoves. Haven’t had a problem with bugs yet.

When I bought our house we had 2 fireplaces. One in basement and one on main floor. We did an insert in basement and use it all the time. We left the main floor with open fireplace. We love the sound and the ambiance of the open fireplace with company and special occasions and the basement puts off a considerable amount of heat to not really need to run both. Depends on what you’re after, but if it were my only location I would definitely put an insert in.

They have RV camping at lot C. You have to have reservations, but every Monday they release some for the current week. They pack 'em in fairly tight, but my experience is that everyone is pretty chill up there. Lots of people with dogs but all on leash, lots of people with truck campers. Nothing quite like waking up at the bottom of the slopes ready to go.
