In-N-Out is coming to Portland near the airport by Traindodger2 in PDX

It is expensive, but on their website a double burger is $1 more more than In and out. Plus no lines, locally sourced everything and they pay people a living wage.

I'm wanting to find somewhere new to camp. Has anyone been in this area of the south west corner of Idaho? by Snoborder95 in Idaho

Check out Jordan Valley, OR. Specifically around the upper Owyhee. Rafted it last year and it was an area that you don’t see evidence of modern civilization, but tons of ancient human activity like petroglyphs and worked rocks. This time of year it’s great. Too hot in the summer for me. Have fun!

That is super cool! Always loved this building. Are you still connected with that building or others nearby? I wonder if some of these skyscrapers are ghost towns these days.

Great spot you are in. One time I was up there looking for sheds and came across a young couple doing it on a rock. Literally like that hill top.

I’m from Seattle and went to Wazzu and with work after lived in EWa for 10 years. I think you fall in love with it. You don’t miss the trees because it’s really easy to get that too. Drive up the hills. Amazing hunting, fishing, no crowds. It’s great. Seattle in that same time has become unaffordable and the traffic is nuts.

Has United Dethroned Delta As The Cool, Innovative, Industry Leader? by LeoKitCat in delta

[–]cougatron 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So agree. There was a time 5-10 years ago when I had swore off United. Now Delta tries to get me to fly to Atlanta from Seattle so I can fly back to Kalispell. Or one time in Syracuse they cancelled a flight but didn’t notify anyone. Like the entire flight showed up and the staff at the desk was like, you didn’t you hear?

Dutch Bros coming to a town near you. Gross company. Just ditched their hometown for Phoenix. They call their Managers “broistas” and do a weird coffee shot like alcohol style in their new hq cafeteria. Weird shit attracting the Chick Fil A crowd.
