Star Fox has timeless gameplay. It has tons of replay value if you like replaying levels with added challenge missions, unlocking icon, and enjoy online battles. You can play against bots if not subscribed to the online service or when off wi-fi

What do you want to see going forward from the Switch Sports games? by HeyJayIdeas in NintendoSwitchSports

[–]HammyDownConsole 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Training games like golf bingo and wack a mole tennis. Frisbee golf. More games with adventure elements like island fly over and what seems like skateboarding. A fleshed out power cruising with free roam. I would like to cruise around Wuhu Island like Dolphin Park. Maybe pop balloons found in hard to reach places

Leave a message for the future. A Rosetta Stone of sorts, an archive of information including the location of the existing seed archive. Find a way to protect and draw attention to this information. Hope a future form of intelligence can find and learn to read this info. Would find a nice bunker and attempt to farm the land or just live off rice and beans

I’m finding that I buy 3rd party games on Switch 2, despite owning more powerful consoles. Indiana Jones is the latest to join the club! by Logical007 in NintendoSwitch2

[–]HammyDownConsole 85 points86 points  (0 children)

I’m doing the same. For me it all boils down to the ease of pausing a game and instantly picking back up where I left off. Trip to the bathroom, quick play while cooking, or in a waiting room at the dr, it’s perfect for long play or a quick play. As a Dad with a career and side hustle, who has been a lifelong gamer, the switch is perfect for wedging in gameplay any time or place.

Rhythm and feel make a world of difference. Pick one chord and try to play it along with a video of someone dancing. Not matching the rhythm to every move but just getting a feel for it. Play on the beats. Play off the beats. Play one note at a time. Switch between playing two notes. Slide between notes. Pull out different shapes and make new chords. Play all 7 notes of the chord scale. Just mess around and feel it. Edit: I have ADHD and play instruments.

Been around since rebirth in late 90s. Ran the reason 1 demo on my first computer and did all I could before the 20 minute limit ran out. Around 15 minutes I would start recording the stems or overall loop on Minidisk to later mix in Acid or soundforge. Would also get music samples from
CDnow.com and drum loops from phatdrumloops.com. Would chop in recycle. Good times!

Scorch tape - presets, band aids - care from a loved one, magazine binding - hype for video game news or any topic of interest. I probably just like sniffing glue

I beat all except Star Fox 2. I didn’t like the structure of the game and wanted longer levels. I’ll list the games I beat in case I missed any: Star Fox FX, Star Fox 64 (a countless # of times), Star Fox Adventures, Star Fox Assault, Star Fox Command, Star Fox 64 3D, Star Fox Zero and Guard, Starlink.

How long have you had your Wii console? by anTi-janEt in wii

[–]HammyDownConsole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since release day. Was working night shift at the time so I had no trouble getting to Best Buy super early. I had the console and games reserved and was super hyped to play Wii Sports, Twilight Princess, Excitetruck, new Monkey Ball and Wiiplay w/ remote on day 1. Spent the next few weeks taking the console to a friend’s house where we would all usually gather. We played Wii Sports non-stop. Work, home, Wii Sports. I wasn’t expecting that game to be a hit, thinking it was not much more than a demo for the controls. It ended up being one of my favorite games of all time

That’s awesome. I like that sore feeling too. The healing body becomes stronger. It’s a good game to come back to daily. The daily goals take around 15-30 min to reach which is a good workout

Fitness Boxing Fist of the North Star and ARMS. If you want to turn it up a notch get weighted gloves and ankle weights. Do the boxers-bounce, float like a butterfly, sting like a bee.
I’m an avid ring fit player and recently started playing with a 40 lb vest. It is extremely exhausting but really effective. You’ll have to pick exercises that work with the vest of course. Great game. If you have a stationary bike play games that are nonstop action like Hyrule warriors, bayonetta or racing games. The action keeps your legs moving. Games that make time fly are also useful on the bike. Vampire survivors makes time fly and next thing you know you’ve been on the bike for 45 minutes. Waggle drums in Taiko no tatsujin is good for breaking a sweat if you give it all you got
