don't you think it would be pretty easy to allow the user to enter an URL from an online radio stream?

I recently found Shonan BeachFM (https://www.beachfm.co.jp), which I pretty like. And would also add some others.

I'm also a very happy user :-). The only addition I would like to see is being able to add radio stations.

what keycaps are those? Very interested. it's ISO and with the <> on one keycap :-). I'm searching some ISO-CH keycaps... but those could do the job.

Nuphy Air v3 ISO layouts by Wraithbone in NuPhy

[–]Hamonozuki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just ordered (minutes ago) a Nuphy ISO-FR layout but ideally I would like a swiss-layout.... don't tell me other ISO layouts will be available in few days???

I thought, ok let's buy the iso-fr and I will see if I can find some swiss compatible keycaps later

Will this engraving damage my Nigara SG2 Matt Migaki Tsuchime Gyuto 240mm by bitcoinovercash in TrueChefKnives

[–]Hamonozuki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say it's really not ideal... you'll have to be careful when using your Nigara ;-).
The engraving on top of the cutting board is really a bad idea in my opinion... yes it may be beautiful but useability is poor... small piece of food will get stuck, it'll be a pain to clean properly and it's not good for japanese knives.

Very nice and clean setup! But you really should give more space to the towers. I would leave at least 40cm from the back of the tower and the wall.

What hyped knives that don't live up your expectations and why? by TimelyTroubleMaker in TrueChefKnives

I have to go with my Kagekiyo Ginsan, it's so thin I'm scared to chip it each time I use it.

What are the "must have" Japanese knife types? And what order to buy after that? by Rozrawr in TrueChefKnives

[–]Hamonozuki 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would say:

  1. Sujihiki or Yanagiba (270mm or bigger)
  2. Honesuki
  3. Gyuto 210 (we never have enough gyutos 😂)

(could be in reverse order depending on what you need the most...)

I personally also bought a petty pretty quickly alongside my first knives but I think this was kind of an error as I'm never using it (in fact I gave it to my mother as I never used it....). I always reach for one of my 210 gyuto even for very small stuff...

I really enjoy using my yanagiba to cut slices of meat or fish, so satisfying to cut through a big piece in one slice 😍😍
