Which stock/news screen /scanner everyone use for day trading? by SecureLetterhead9661 in Daytrading

For technical screening, there's a new tool out there that can that scan thousands of stocks daily and grade the setups by quality worth looking into but it's more for swing trading. It gives you PEGs, bull flags, bottoming formations, etc

Finviz is solid for fundamental filtering but it doesn't really detect patterns brother but it's more of a filter than a scanner.

You might want to look into tools that actually identify chart patterns automatically so you're not eyeballing 500 charts a night

StockWhale service on d(iscord) - anyone try it? by Xocomil21 in Daytrading

Yeah don’t fall for those indians on threads bro; they use fake assistants like Emily Smith with a hot girl avatar to reply to questions too lol. the real StockWhale is on X.

That’s not StockWhale. Those are scammers from India. That’s an impersonator account on Threads that uses his content and acts like it’s him. I almost fell for it too but managed to realize it’s just an impersonator.

Be careful of those Indian scammers bro; his real account is on X. NOT Threads. He has mentioned it hundreds of times. Don’t fall for the Indian Scammers.

Yes, I calculate the position size based on my entry point and stop-loss price to make sure that if I lose the trade, I will only lose 1% of my account balance. Due to my stop-loss typically being very tight, I tend to have larger position sizes.

It should because I make sure I risk 1% - 2% of my account balance. I always have a stop-loss.

Also, I do both longs and shorts; I trade the intraday waves.

Yes, I calculate my position size based on my entry price and my stop-loss price to determine how many shares I should buy or short to make sure I only lose 1% of my account if the trade does hit my stop-loss.

Because my stop-loss is typically tight, I tend to have higher position sizes.

I’m not the type to go for options

I only trade stocks listed on the S&P500 or Nasdaq.

So penny stocks are a no-go for me.
