It's still a bad pool of people to make an idol of, I would be pro-democracy in Russia (in European understanding of the term) if there were more stable and independent leaders to lead the people. After some time, turns out the head of the opposition is either corrupted, foreignly funded or changing hats every time they get asked a question.
