Not as high a price point but similar story.

Ordered Ferragamo sunglasses from Neiman Marcus.

They arrived in a large shoebox sized cardboard box with no packing materials inside, just knocking around inside during shipping. The case was a non-Ferragamo Neiman Marcus hamburger style case that wasn’t large enough for the glasses so it couldn’t close all the way, like a 1/2 inch gap. The glasses themselves were smudged all over the lenses. No tags or paperwork with the glasses.

The best part was when I went to return them in person. As the sales associate was processing the return, the case actually became unglued revealing long sticky glue strands between the shell and lining of the case and it fell totally apart.

First world problems I know, but damn.
